Upwell delving onto drifter technology isn’t far fetched.
After several months of researching and hypothesizing about the Warden, its capabilities, its nature, and other matters, my team and I have published a report containing all the knowledge we have on the subject and that we are authorized to publish, in addition to some hypotheses. I am taking this opportunity to publish some information contained in this report here, particularly regarding its role during the Drifter crisis. This message will be posted after the report is released. If you want more detailed information and to read the report in question, visit the official website of the Precursor Artificial Intelligence Research Center and you should find it quickly.
First, given its architectural style, the Warden does not appear to date from the Third Jovian Empire’s era but rather from the Second Empire’s era, given its similarity to Drifter and Sleeper designs, or perhaps even from the First Empire era’s. We don’t know which enclaves created the Warden or which ideological factions they were part of.
Here is what we know about the Warden:
-When it was revealed, minor shifts/ripples in spacetime across New Eden were observed by the SoCT
-The Warden’s advanced network information processing capabilities can break the encryptions of Equinox workers’ infomorphs, it seems that no other decryption technologies can do that.
-Shortly after the Warden’s reveal, the Deathless Circle started to sell SCARAB breacher pods using new advanced virtuality and cloning technologies, such as Shriker-type clones.
-According to our analyses, Deathless Planetary Trustbreaker Arrays “were using the Warden’s unfathomable processing power to mine data packets for otherwise impossible-to-detect traces of Defense Networks passkey in order to reconstruct them” and then hack planetary defense networks.
-The Warden is connected to a network of hyperspace connections, these connections seems to be routed through the Warden. Connecting to the Warden’s processing systems make one able to connect to the hyperspace network which can facilitate teleportation to specific locations, as it was the case when filaments were used to jump forces into Drifter wormhole systems.
All this made us theorize that the Warden’s main features are advanced “super-computer” systems as well as at least cluster-wide space-time altering systems. We think that the hyperspace network was generated across at least New Eden by the Warden, or maybe with other space-time altering devices, while its processing systems can map and detect hyperspace connections created within this network in order to better determine specific locales where wormholes and/or conduits could be generated, maybe even if these locales are located in another dimension or galaxy, although it is not impossible than these connections could be natural and not artificial, or that this network was created by another people, maybe Terran ones, while the Jovians only took advatange of its existence to create the Warden as a hub to map and manipulate it. We assume that SCARAB pod virtualities and Shriker genetic modifications were made by studying and using the Warden’s computational abilities. We have also theorized that technologies that allowed the Warden to have such computing power, or at least similar or adjacent ones, may have been used to create the Sleeper construct, or to study and perform the genetic modifications that give the Jovians their otherworldly appearance and behavior.
There is also the case of Drifter networks composed of labyrinths and hives created and deployed in Anoikis and New Eden during the last days of the Drifter crisis. We theorize that these labyrinths were some kind of giant computers performing calculations to run devices in the hives, and that their connection to the hyperspace network made it possible for them to find and use hyperspace connections to use whatever space-time altering technology they planned to activate in an optimal way.
The case of Drifter nexus gates leading to what appears to be Jove space is, in our opinion, the most puzzling. We never saw any Drifter in Jove space and never had any reports about this yet, we could conclude that the Drifters either couldn’t generate wormhole leading to these regions, or that they are capable to go there but we can’t know it because of our seemingly inability to go to Jove Space. It seems that Jove space is protected by a defense system, which probably includes some sort of anti-wormhole generation field, to prevent ships like that of Sansha’s nation from going there. We believe the Drifters are using the hyperspace network to push the limits of the technologies they have at their disposal, which could explain why they seek the Warden and have developed this labyrinths-hives-gates network shortly after they obtained an access to the hyperspace network to create an unprecedented threat to the empires.
If they can go to Jove space without any access to the Warden and therefore bypass an hypothetical anti-wormhole generation field, then these nexus gates could be more stable and efficient than wormholes generated without access to the Warden.
If they can’t go to Jove space without an access to the Warden, then they could have used the hyperspace network to operate space-time altering devices capable of bypassing this hypothetical anti-wormhole generation field. Maybe it can be accomplished by taking advantage already present hyperspace connections, or by extending the hyperspace network and generating new hyperspace connections within New Eden, Anoikis and higher dimensions. Maybe they even created new Warden-like stations or networks, given how similar to “super-computer” labyrinths seemed to be. According to the Drifter summit’s documents given to present delegates, the Drifters altered the hyperspace network, we don’t know how and to what extend but we believe it could be related to a potential extension of the hyperspace network. If so, maybe it was planned to be used to accomplish theorized and dreaded doomsday scenarios. Maybe the potential extension of the hyperspace network by the Drifters was what made occupying factions able to jump forces into Drifter systems.
It should be noted that Zarzakh is almost located in the center of New Eden, maybe the Warden was built there to better generate or map the hyperspace network of New Eden. It is moreover not impossible that Warden-like structures could be located and hidden elsewhere in New Eden, Anoikis, the Abyss or even beyond these parts of the universe. While the Drifters seemed to master a less advanced version of the hyperspace network, maybe the Triglavian Collective or the Third Jovian empire used much networks too, perhaps it is also the case of unknown space-faring civilizations. The potential future use of the hyperspace network could maybe lead to the discovery and exploration of unknown or unmapped parts of the universe if we are able to pick up hyperspace connections in an uncharted place for example.

SOCT report detect “ripples” indicating Drifter Wormhole Occupiers have ramped up hyperspace network testing.
Hm. The SOCT were there before any of the others by a matter of multiple years. Their insights on what’s going on, along with any concerns, are likely to be worth listening to.
Sansha went to Jove space and took control of the Prosper Vault in 3-CE1R, some 15 years ago. Via wormhole btw.
I know, but since some time there are something that continues to defend Jove space. It was probably put there since this attack.

Thukker Chief Ennar Aeboul echoes AMP concerns over dangers of Republic-backed experimentation in Liberated Barbican.
Having also conducted expeditions to Anoikis to study the consequences of the end of the Drifter Crisis and monitor what is happening within this region of space, the results obtained by the AMP also correspond to what the explorers and researchers I employ have observed.
I understand why occupying factions are suspicious of this report, they likely wish to continue their research because what they have discovered or even developed is, in their view worthwhile, and they probably don’t want to be told that what they are doing is potentially dangerous. It’s normal to react like that in this kind of situation.
We will have to wait and see if what the occupiers are doing is worth the potential disruptions to New Eden’s space-time.
The answer to this question is raised in the very first sentence of the article.
The Anoikis Mapping Project (AMP), a capsuleer-led initiative working with the Gallente Federation
These ”concerns” are nothing but spurious accusations levelled by a government that failed to accomplish anything during the crisis, and is now feeling left out. Our friends from the Convocation of Triglav Outside the Struggle doubtless know what they’re doing, it’s the Minmatar and EDENCOM id be worried over.
The government hasn’t said anything, a capsuleer scientist has.
It has been a few months since I covertly sent explorers across New Eden to certain regions indicated on the New Eden map which serves as a diagram for the fourth phase of the Drifters’ plan, unfortunately without conclusive results. Now that this exploration mission is over, enough time has passed and hypotheses have been formulated, I will therefore analyze this diagram in more detail. The hypotheses and observations contained in this post come from myself, colleagues in my corporation, and other capsuleers with whom I have spoken on this subject.
First, we can see circles on the territories of the four empires, which likely refers to the Drifters’ theorized attempt to provoke doomsday scenarios, or at least potentially destructive hostile actions within empire space, via hives, labyrinths, and a connection to the Warden.
We also see vortex-like symbols located within the territory of the third Jove Empire, another roughly near the Scalding Pass, Wicked Creek, and Insmother regions, and the last roughly at Delve/Querious. The vortices appear to encompass several systems in these regions simultaneously; it’s possible this is simply an approximate location of interest to the Drifters.
Then there are six “arrows” grouped into three pairs that follow a specific pattern: an arrow originates from a vortex, moves toward a circle in Empire Space, and then returns to a point at nullsec space.
The vortices could represent wormholes, as they resemble the symbol at the center of the Phase 2 diagram, which also depicts Nexus Gates in their “urchin” state before they reformed into their current pillar-like structures and generated wormholes. This leads us to believe that Phase 4 corresponds to what was supposed to happen after the Drifters connected to the Warden and reactivated the Nexus Gates, and that they planned to generate wormholes toward several locations in New Eden.
The hypothesis that the Drifters intended to travel to the Jovian Directorate’s space is relatively popular, especially given the presence of this institution’s symbol as a diagram for Phase 3 and the fact that the nebulae observed through the wormholes generated by the Nexus Gates appeared to be those of Directorate space. However, we don’t have much information on the possibility that they intended to generate wormholes toward the other two locations indicated on the map. It is particularly interesting to note that one of the vortices/wormholes is located near Curse, the former territory of the first two Jovian empires. We don’t have a hypothesis, however, as to why the Drifters would want to go to a location in Delve/Querious.
We’ve theorized that the Drifters may have planned to use their connection to the Warden to breach some kind of defense system guarding Jove space, but perhaps they wanted to do the same thing to to access a location near Curse or in Delve/Querious. Although we think they might want to reclaim Jove space, given that we theorize their ideology could be some kind of zealous and violent nationalism, perhaps they are instead or also searching for information or relics that could help them. Perhaps they are also looking for information or relics near Curse and Delve/Querious. It is possible that if they are looking for something near Curse, then it may be related to the first or second Jove empire.
We have very few clear hypotheses regarding the “arrows”, although we have seen some theories suggesting they could be hyperspace paths they planned to use for more efficient travel through New Eden. We have theorized that if this is the case, perhaps they also used them to better deploy hives, labyrinths, and forces during the final days of the crisis, or perhaps they could indicate locations of interest to the Drifters, much like the locations where vortices/wormholes are placed.
An hour before the downtime cluster in YC127.11.14 an update from the Nexus gate in Sentinel:
The green particles in that shot are not simple static or ambient residue. They behave wrong for that.
It’s as if the entire nexus is charging or venting a partial activation cycle, but only one side of the mechanism is responding. Something is misaligned… or waking up.
Dropping an open data drop for everyone here.
Upwell has been studying Drifter technology and phenomena, their recent technological breakthrough is based off of salvaged drifter tech from the recent Drifter Invasion. There is also no telling how many unaccounted for bodies and (likely deceased) abductees that may be in Upwell’s assets and possession. These are missing people being exploited for technological progress and profit. This is an absolute disgrace to the human spirit and absolute crime against humanity.
I have visual record logs of destroyed drifter scrutinizers and various abandoned Upwell and EDENCOM facilities.

Release of information at consent of requester… Repeating Transmission…
These are quite serious accusations, and I wonder who the source of these logs is. Did they come from you or someone else? I don’t intend to accuse you of making or spreading false accusations or to question your good faith, but in my opinion this should warrant a thorough examination by the State’s authorities and CONCORD to ensure their veracity. Even if the log you posted is genuine, the fact that we for example can’t know who sent the showed transmission makes this accusation hard to believe. People might conclude that it could be a message containing fraudulent claims, and in my opinion it would be reasonable given the lack of evidences in your post. Despite this, it’s undeniable that Upwell studied Drifter (or at least Jovian in general) technology and would not have, or had no qualms about, doing dubious things with it, given their past actions. I assume you’ve already reported these logs to some authorities or posted them elsewhere, that might at least help clarify this case if Upwell truly committed crimes of this magnitude.
A post compiling information and some hypotheses about the events of the past few days based on observations and research carried out by the Einherjar Foundation.
On November 18th YC127, the Upwell consortium released a set of new ships (the Pioneer, Outrider, Venture Consortium Issue and Pioneer Consortium Issue) as well as a new deployable structure: the Mobile Phase Anchor.
The purpose of these anchors is to “resonate with phased-out asteroids, phasing them into harmony with the surrounding spacetime” to allow for maximum mining efficiency of “erratic ore”. To my current knowledge, only asteroids of a new ore, prismaticite, can be found in a phased-out state and are classified as erratic ore. Moreover, atavums are necessary to create these anchors.
These asteroids are found only in “phased fields,” asteroid fields whose earliest known occurrences I am aware of were observed on November 19th. I have only been aware of phased fields appearing in nullsec so far. These sites are large fractures in spacetime that appear to lead to higher dimensions, and from which prismaticite asteroids seem to have emerged. Prismaticite can only be mined if located within the fracture, it therefore seems that the anchors only complete the phasing of the asteroid within our lower dimensions.
A preliminary analysis of a phased prismaticite asteroid.
A preliminary analysis of prismaticite ore.
The list of materials into which prismaticite could collapse:
Isogen, Megacyte, Mexallon, Morphite, Nocxium, Pyerite, Tritanium, Zydrine.
It is also possible, using reaction formulas, to choose which materials prismaticite will collapse into. It seems that prismaticite’s properties could make this ore quite useful and valuable. I have already read claims that this would make it the most valuable ore in New Eden.
Today I went to observe one in the YPW-M4 system, I was able to take photos and analyze the asteroid and especially the large fracture in space-time present at the site for a bit as well as the local space-time telemetry.
The field and the fracture, in the form of a green ray and a “bubble”, seen from afar. The asteroids are located within the fractures.
The prismaticite asteroid and the miners’ mobile phase anchor as seen from within the fracture. The glowing object next to the asteroid is an active mobile phase anchor.
The active mobile phase anchor used by the miners as well as their mining lasers.
Initial and incomplete measurements of local space-time telemetry analyses seemed to indicate erratic readings. I also detected grade-III mercoxit asteroids at the site.
Let’s now turn to the hypotheses I and others have developed about all of this.
First, it seems possible that the appearance of these fractures is linked to the experiments of factions occupying Drifter wormholes on the hyperspace network, especially given that the Drifters appear to have taken advantage of their temporary access to the Warden to move assets into higher dimensions. The use of the hyperspace network thus seems to open up possibilities with regard to higher-dimensional technologies, not to mention the relatively short time window between the detection of the disturbances and the first observed formations of fractures and fields. Perhaps the disturbances to the spacetime of New Eden resulted in the formation of these fractures and fields, or perhaps another event, in addition to the experiments, was the final straw that triggered this.
Secondly, the fact that technology used to phase objects from higher dimensions relies on the use of atavum is interesting because not only does it provide new leads on the original use of these relics, but it also allows us to formulate a new hypothesis: what if the Deathless Circle used atavum not to “decloak” the Warden, but to pull it from a higher dimension? Perhaps other structures of Jovian origin, or from other ancient civilizations in higher dimensions, exist that those who possess atavum, along with other sufficient information and resources, could discover. Furthermore, perhaps the Jovian observatories discovered during the Drifter crisis earlier this year, or in YC117, originated from such higher dimensions, especially given the already established hypotheses that the observatories discovered this year might have pulled into the crisis system with advanced hyperspace technology. Moreover, if we can believe Yosef Okada’s logs, atavums seem to be usable for discovering a pattern leading to the discovery of a concept called “finite-infinite.” Perhaps this finite-infinite is actually the Warden or the hyperspace network. I’ve already discussed this hypothesis before, but the confirmation of this new function of atavums makes me think that this is new potential evidence that might one day confirm this theory as true.
Thirdly, perhaps the Upwell Consortium, and by extension maybe EDENCOM and CONCORD too, were aware of what manipulating the hyperspace network could do, such as creating fractures and phased fields, and planned in advance to develop and release new products like the four new mining ships as well as the mobile phase anchor to take advantage of the new opportunities that the research and exploitation of phased fields would offer. Perhaps they have already conducted experiments on fractures and phased fields within the Sentinel Military Zone or in other systems over which they have influence. Perhaps the other occupying factions have developed similar research or conducted similar experiments.
Finally, it’s likely that the other major factions in New Eden are studying this situation and these new phasing technologies to gain as much advantage as possible, especially given how valuable and useful prismaticite could prove to be. It is possible that until now, fractures and fields have mostly been seen in nullsec because the empires have already sealed off those appearing in highsec and lowsec. Depending on how things develop and how ruling factions of the known universe will act regarding all of this, the formation of these fractures and fields, the distribution of anchors and “sensitive” information, what might be discovered on the other side of the fractures might potentially become problematic.
Hi all,
I would like to add a datapoint to this, that I haven’t seen mentioned yet, and I believe it may be relevant to the wider pattern emerging across the cluster.
During an investigation, we encounter a site that include multiple structure, drifter structure. I think that we can distinguish multiple wreck of Scrutinizer and one large Drifter structure.
This large Drifter structure remind us about the Vigilance point that was in Pochven few months ago. Why those structure were found near Jita is still a mistery.
But these Drifter structures were discovered directly beside the Interstellar Gravimetric Transmitter that Upwell deployed for their experiments.
When I was near the structure, it didn’t hit me first. But after research, about Upwell industry, I found their catalog.
They already had a Pharolux Cyno Beacon, this structure can generate a cynosural beacon and provides a valid jump destination for any jump-capable ship within range, just like a standard cynosural generator module. Ships jumping to a Pharolux Cyno Beacon follow all standard jump drive behavior including consuming their own jump fuel and receiving jump fatigue.
What Upwell is up to, we don’t know yet, the data transmitted is still to be revealed yet.
But could it be that, they upgraded their Pharolux Cyno Beacon to replicate the Drifter wormhole generator, something did go wrong and created the fracture across New Eden?
Did they succeed and were able to link Sentinel MZ ?
And that could explain why there’s those lutins dancing in the Nexus Center?
I hope the formation of fractures is less dangerous than CONCORD and the SoCT expect, otherwise, it would be problematic if those responsible for their formation were to shirk their share of responsibility if it leads to a situation similar to the Drifter or Triglavian crises.
Given the Triglavians’ statement and the fact that they aren’t bothered by the idea of creating fractures in New Eden, I’ve theorized that they probably believe these fractures won’t bring Azdaja or other postlost elements to New Eden or empower those already present, despite the possibility that higher dimensions accessible via the hyperspace network could have been used by Jovians to store stations, such as the Warden or the unmoored observatories discovered during the Drifter crisis, and maybe some of their people.
I also read an interesting hypothesis: what if the Triglavians’ goal to “stabilize the ancient Domains” included not only the extermination of all Drifters but also the destruction of one or more things that would hold the Triglavians back in their objective of destroying Azdaja elements? What if these things are the “tools of the Ancient Enemy Azdaja” that must also face extirpation as mentioned in the article’s statement? Perhaps these are stations or artifacts giving them a certain advantage, perhaps they are located in the hives of the Drifter systems or other places of interest to them.
I also have a hypothesis as to why there doesn’t seem to be any evidence of fractures or phased fields being found in high-sec. What if the space-time of New Eden had been altered to make it happen this way? Perhaps the Drifters did this when they moved their structures in high and low-sec during the wrath of Tyrannos in order to limit the risk of network malfunctions, resulting in an absence of fractures in high-sec. Or perhaps another faction did this secretly to limit the damage that could occur to the empires’ cores in the event of a botched use of the network, if so maybe it was the SoCT or the Jovian empire.
