I’m not sure I understand the cakeday reference
Cake day is “creation” day really. Not your birthday, but the account’s/character’s birthday for example. 
I’m not sure where it originated from, but I’m aware Imgur does celebrate cakedays for your accounts, and likewise do these forums (for when your character first joined the forums)
