Hello all!
Just started EVE maybe a week ago and have been absorbing as much information as possible while my skills train:
- Got the free 1mil points and dumped them into “The Magic 14”
- Watched “Down The Rabbit Hole” to get an idea of the politics and history of EVE
- Watched beginner guides, builds, how to start making ISK, etc. on Youtube
- Joined the EVE University Corp
- Started doing the ACP missions to get my feet wet
The one thing that has been stated over and over is that finding a Corp that suits your intended playstyle and accepts new players is something you should do ASAP since “friendship” is the best ship in the game 
So I’d love to find a newish Corp to join and become an active player in!
I’m looking for a Corp that does PvP, or plans to PvP, but not just pirates that gank to ruin someone’s day for S&Gs or profit. I want to “gank the gankers”, like a Privateer hunting Pirates. That way I can get my PvP kick, but I help defend those that get targeted by gankers wanting to get some easy loot.
Dunno if these would just be considered Mercs, but I’m not really looking to be paid to protect….hunting assholes and kicking their teeth in would be payment enough since I also would like to do Exploration and Mining to make ISK on the side to fuel the PvP addiction!
If any Corps fit this description, or someone can point me in the right direction, just let me know! I can’t wait to dive in even deeper, and until I find the right Corp I’ll keep learning and making ISK!
