Coming back to EVE after roughly 10 years away. I resubbed for a year and figured I’d see what eve looks like again.
Main character has around 100m SP, i think i might have extracted SP at some point in the past. I have several other accounts/characters, although for now I’ve only subbed the one while I get my bearings. I assume I need to relearn a lot. After ten years I’m also not going to pretend I can jump straight back in like nothing changed. I remember the fundamentals and the way the game works but haven’t stayed up to date. Plus the shakes, oh god the shakes!
A few things about what I’m looking for:
Limited playtime. I have less time than I did 10 years ago. USTZ, Late.
Unconventional: I want to try things out, and not do the basic line member stuff. Unusual fits, tactics, and just fun in general.
Not interested in grinding ISK. I came back to find that I still have more than enough to get by. No you can’t have my stuff but I’d rather spend my available time actually doing things with people than hoarding space currency.
Happy to relearn PvP, fleets, fittings, mechanics, etc.
Prefer a mature, relaxed group over drama
Mainly interested in finding a chill group of people and seeing what parts of EVE are fun now. And folks who don’t mind answering the occasional dumb question.
I’m pretty open as far as space/content goes. Null, lowsec, wormholes, PvP, small gang, fleets, whatever. I’m more interested in the people and atmospherre.

You sound like our speed here at The Order of Omerta. Were a small group of chill players looking to make fun in eve a priority over all the other bs. We live in WH space but are also in FW and other things that take us outta the hole as well. We like PVE PVP and Indy and are always looking to add players who dont mind getting on coms with us and finding some fun. A few things from your post stood out to me:
Limited playtime is fine. Real life comes first. Log in, shoot something, have some laughs, log off.
Unconventional is encouraged. Small gang, hunting, weird fits, experimentation, and trying things that probably shouldn’t work—but sometimes do—is part of the fun.
No need to grind ISK for our benefit. If you’ve already got the wallet, spend your time blowing things up instead of staring at it.
Returning pilots are welcome. Nobody expects someone coming back after ten years to know every mechanic that’s changed. Ask questions. We’ll get you caught up.
Mature atmosphere. We’re here to play EVE, build something together, and have fun—not manufacture drama.
TUSK is growing, so this also isn’t a situation where you’d just become Line Member #847. There is room for experienced pilots to help shape what we’re building, experiment with tactics, organize hunts, lead fleets, or simply undock with a few guys and go looking for trouble.
Your comment about being more interested in the people and atmosphere than the specific type of space is probably the biggest reason I’m replying. That’s exactly the kind of pilot I’m looking for.

Small gang, blops, roams, ESS thefts, FW plexing/fighting, and occasional larger fleets.
