There’s a version of that. It’s called the Algos. :>
(Trades 3 turrets for 2 Medium and 3 Light drones.)

Indeed, I wish there was an option where one could remove the drone bay and get an extra turret DPS bonus in its place…even if it was less overall DPS than the drones would give.
And are a pvp countermeasure. Throw in some warriors or somethings. Gives that new tackling friend something to play with…besides you.
100% effective? No. Better than going well I guess pick my warp to for my pod while still in shields? Yes.
There was a time the Catalyst could field some light drones, it also had a -25% ROF penalty too. I’ll take our current Catalyst instead.
This right here…

Raw damage doesn’t mean much.
The damage type is what matters, and the damage resistances on what you are attacking is what matters.
But yes, in general Gallente drones do the most overall damage.
Right, but does that (at best) 20ish% increase warrent being the slowest drones, with the worst range/tracking, and (most importantly) only half the eHP of the other drones?
Drones mimic the damage and range and speed of the majority of the faction ships and attributes of those ships. Gallente has highest damage, shortest range and slowest, caldari has most range, minmatar is fastest. Ewar drones are of the faction that does that ewar type as well. Caldari are ecm, amarr are energy weapons/tracking disruption, minmatar are webbing/TP and gallente are sensor damp. Then they also do the main damage types of their factions as well.
