The YC year for any date can be easily found by taking the current Gregorian Calendar year and subtracting 1898.
I think the boardgame was actually first created in 1998 and the Devs probably just subtracted 100 from it to make it easy for Eve story telling.
The Eve date is written like normal date:
Short Form: 29/01/120
Long Form: Monday, January 29th, YC120
The short form always messes me up. I’m American and was taught to list the month first followed by the day and then the year.
Anyway, here’s the Gregorian Date to YC Date Conversion.
