@Sumac_Bing Welcome to EVE. I hope you haven’t been too discouraged by the “Learning Cliff” that all players have to climb, some need more than one try before they get on top of it. 
When I first started I was kinda in same situation except from the part of being a Business owner 
, while it can be fun to play solo, it is way more fun if you have people to play with. This is where Corporations, Alliances and Coalitions (Basic, Advanced and Expert level when it comes to Scale/Management).
I found a great corporation and have been with them for almost my entire time in EVE, there have been ups and downs along the way but that just how it is when mixing RL and Video game(s)
