I got 2 pvp characters, the 173 mil character is mostly a cap pilot with most ship and weapons skills to 5. The other character is more of a subcap based character but both can fly pretty much all major doctrines. I really dont take myself as seriously as most eve players and I honestly despise the Zkill culture some pvpers have.
Im an off and on again kinda player, so deffo not suited for WH life or corps that insist on being nomadic.
I prefer EU, I prefer activity. Im not exactly keen to join a corp that is part of a major bloc, where they take care of your activity and engagement.
I tend to find every reason to do nul fleet fights without being an F1 mouth breather, think logi, dictors, tackle, or anything that is more engaging than being told to activate hardeners and group weapons.
I like to loose blackops doing extremely stupid ■■■■. I multibox and can hunt. Lowsec and Null

Curious though have you not tried out npsi fleets like spectre, f.u.n or pandos commandos or even overclockers if your into more specialised small gang stuff?
I would recommend reaching out to Decoy X. There’s tons of EU PVP happening right now, and BJK is a great dude to fly with and hyper engaged and aware. My group, War Eagle Fleet, are predominantly USTZ for now and mainly PVP like feral barn animals on fermented fruits.
At this point, I am recruiting for a very small corp in a smallish alliance in a huge sov null bloc. If you are looking to help build something up, it could be the right place for you.
It is actually an ex-wormhole corp set up to stage out of Thera with experience in all regions of NPC null. Getting anywhere on the map is not a problem. We need people who are eager for PvP! For what it is worth, I am also not a fan of the zkill culture. Having said that, BLOPs are tons of fun. =)
Basic requirements are be on comms and in fleet. Also, participate in some PvP activities. Generally fairly laid back. We have EUTZ players in the alliance, but most people are USTZ.
