thats really a shitshow here ccp. you screw goons bad this time. goons fail at log ins for hours and the other side brings more and more into the fight without problems.

how many fights has went goons way? probably a lot more than this.. sit down and hush.

If its true that after the node died a login-queue was created, but jumping in through other systems has not been properly adjusted, then this is a major oversight, regardless of who fights who.

Because sitting over 2h in front of a black screen while cyno/gate-jumping takes roughly 10 - 20min, then this needs to be adressed and should NOT happen again in the future.

I personally am now at roughly 4h of black/character screen.

I just want to know if I’m going to be reimbursed for lost game time. CCPs game was inaccessible, for about 8 hours so far.

Also how much do you want to bet they’ll be bragging about how large of a fight this was while they ignore the fact they negatively impacted 10k players. But hey, if this was my game and my product that I was charging one of the largest fees for in the industry, I’d have some better communication, better mechanics, and at least attempt to make large scale fights some what playable.

This battle will go down in infamy. I have been trying to log in and undock for 4 hours. Intervene and do something. Your servers are failing and causing an absolutely skewed situation.

How about blaming frt for jamming all these 10k alts onto grid

all actions that would cause tidi to drop below 10% were swallowed up, its stupid. why ccp limits max tidi to 10%?

I mean, could you imagine 1%? 10% is already pretty brutal.

One more exhibit why Keepstar fights must be dispersed over several systems instead of forced onto one choked grid.

That would be a massive balance change and doing it for the purposes of alleviating server stress is dumb. if someone wants to crash the node they’ll just bring 400k isk Tristans anyway.

Can’t this game set a maximum number of people for each galaxy? Or set a maximum limit for battle scale. Every major battle is like this. I don’t know what the game designers are thinking.

The more expensive the ship, the higher its health, damage, and range, which makes it impossible for new players to compete with old players. Can’t there be some balance? Expensive ships are only strong in one aspect. In the end, it’s just a matter of who has more people and more expensive ships being on top.

Things people have reported:

  1. Massive loading times up to 7 hours or longer with a black screen and only music playing
  2. Black screen after logging in only workaround that is known is to open the EDEN-Store with alt+4 to get some visual functions back
  3. Not being able to use any active modules that need targeting. Only Modules that wont need a target work. Midslots and Smartbombs
  4. Targeting any player or item is not possible, even over the fleet broadcast system
  5. Warping to Structures is not possible
  6. Not visible if being damaged, capacitor gauge and speed is not showing anything, but working
  7. Problems seem not to occur if you get bridged into the system, but rather gating into it.

In my honest opinion and the fact that those information have reached multiple platforms, including reddit and the official eve forums, the node needs to be shut down till the problem is fixed.

And on top of it, since people know about it, going actively after player ships that have those issues should be seen as bug abuse till the origin of the issue has been located and a possible culprit can be made responsible.

There are even CCP GMs in Local which should have noticed something is not right.

It does not matter which groups are affected by this, it could have gone both ways with the defender having the issues and not the attackers, in this particular instance.

This is a major problem currently which now goes on for nearly half a day and it is affection hundreds, maybe even thousands of players in this system of both sides.
