I left the game a little over a year ago because second child was being born with school and work Eve was just to much of a job. College is now done so I want to get back into EVE somewhat, but am still restricted from things like mandatory ops because 1 year old and my almost 3 year old.
I really want to go somewhere to make money first and foremost. Long time goal since they were introduced is to have a Nyx, though I am a long way from that goal I still want to be able to use a Thanatos since I have the skils for it. That would mean finding a corp as well as an alliance that can support that goal as well.
I also want to be able to join in PVP roams occasionally when the kids are asleep as well. I do enjoy doing logi too.
My normal time of play is from around 0300 to 0700 game time (10 to 2 Eastern zone).

Hey, I represent a corp in The Initiative. which is a pvp based alliance within the imperium, we have a fun close knit corp atmosphere and blow ships up as a corp almost daily. We don’t care about elite killboard stats and often lose stupid ■■■■but at least we have fun doing it. Being in the imperium we have access to delve to krab in so you won’t have to worry about making money at all. We don’t have any mandatory PvP but we do like people to try to PVP when their real life lets them. We do focus on being competent PVPers as a corp and our end goal is to be able to call a corp op to achieve an objective and be able to fight with a tighter knit group that can defeat a fleet larger than ours using superior tactics. Welcome back to the game! You should take a look at Mecha Enterprises Fleet, we’re the high SP USTZ corp within the Federation Uprising alliance, which is a Nullsec/Lowsec PVP alliance based in Pure Blind.
We are completely real life first, and as such don’t have any mandatory fleet requirements, pap links, whatever, we will occasionally have CTAs for really important things, but real life is still always more important.
We use a variety of doctrines, everything from Retributions/Deacons to Machariels/Guardians to full on capital sized brawls (we had one just last night that left 270 bil worth of ships destroyed within a half hour).
We fully support carrier ratting normally, and we have four Fortizars to dock capitals in throughout our main sovereignty in Pure Blind, as well as two systems that are delegated carrier ratting systems where carriers get priority. We do not build supercaps ourselves though we do have a supercap supplier should you wish to obtain one, you need only ask about it.
We are in the middle of a full scale war right now, so carrier ratting does come with some risk, however, as long as you’re doing everything correctly (being in comms, standing fleet, aligned, etc), you should be fine.
We have daily fleets in both EU and US TZ, so there will always be action whenever you find the time to log in. T2 Logistics such as the Guardian and Scimitar also fly completely free!
