A New Defensive Weapon

It would be an interesting change of balance if there was a module that created a sort of cybernetic attenuation. It would supress the opponents implants within a certain range with increasing range dependent on skills and ship bonuses.

I could imagine if a weapon could affect the insides of someone’s head within a pod within their ship the weapon could be used a lot more effectively against hostile capsuleers than using it to ‘suppress implants’.

Maybe. I’ve noticed people tend to hesitate for a moment or two when confronted with something not expected. Enough time to take the edge. I think chances are the other player won’t have the weapon nor expect you to. A good example would be most folks don’t carry a Hek of a lot of ecm in favor of tackle, tank or dps.
