We don’t want your answers, your assumptions are all wrong.
tl;dr - some players can’t deal with loosing security status and don’t want to bother with shooting NPC to gain it back or turning in tags. The options given to raise it.
Might as well ask for a PVP flag in EVE
Miners don’t want to lose their ships to a cheap fit destroyer
Mission runners don’t want to deal with blinkies looking for a fight, sorry need a lock for that mission gate
Trader or any market transaction needs a refund option if they screw up, like using a receipt at the store in real life.
Alliances going to war in nullsec, lets have them sign a Geneva convention or some sh*t as well as declaring the rules before hand when the fight starts while following Queensberry rules (spelling I don’t know?) gentleman agreements on who can fight who and went that is not the stated time zone.
Sorry, its EVE. +2 warp strength to a ship hull is not the problem, the problem is your inability to deal with a personal problem of not shooting because “tsk, its a hassle to fix and not my problem CCP makes it boring/hard” yet HTFU is the code of the game. Grow a pair, shave them, and shoot it (not your groin).
Easier fix is to just award the LP to only militia members, further disrupting bots because then they become legal targets if they join the enemy except if they join your side make them easy targets for your enemy. You know, like how missions only pay LP to the person who runs it (isk is beside the point, all NPC give it to who ever kills it and player bounties are just a given). And now they are legal targets as well.
Wouldn’t this also mean someone in a combat fit [venture] pretending to be a bot now can’t suprise an unsuspecting FW Pilot?
Must admit its a stretch in some areas but ive seen and been a part of battle venture fleets when they first came out. and I don’t like squashing emergent gameplay.
The suspect flag is a good idea, however i would propose it have a shorter timer once you warp out of the site or alternatively simply grant limited engagement with anyone else in the complex to avoid issues with having to wait that 15m
