Activity Tracker Reset?

I’m sure it wasn’t intentional but maybe related to the extended downtime? Anyone else?

This happens randomly to people pretty regularly. No known rhyme or reason to the resets - some folks just find themselves suddenly receiving all the notifications again and flagged as newly receiving progression, others with lots set to 0. All you can do is bug report it in-game in the hopes that CCP will get enough data to track down the defect.

I will try to figure out how to send in a bug report. Do I do it in-game or is it like a support ticket? I’ve stopped playing because the nerd in me was actually doing some epic arc missions to work on my activity tracker and for the Agency window to look more completed :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Bug Reports are best submitted in-game - I believe they are hotkeyed to F12? The reason to use the in-game report feature instead of opening a bug report ticket via the support site is the in-game tool can collect log files for you automatically, instead of having to dig them up from the EVE folders on your PC to attach to the ticket. I basically only use the support site bug report tool if I cannot successfully launch/login to the game, since the in-game tool has so many additional features for CCP’s data collection.

Thank you for your reply. Think I would be safe to continue playing? I would hate to get halfway down the missions and then they end up not counting towards my progress when they fix my tracker.

You should be fine. The tracker is separate from all game mechanics - it’s just fun data, with zero impact on any features like mission progression/rewards.

Hey check this out, I logged back in and filled out the report. They asked for a screenshot and so I opened my Activity Tracker and voilà … Activity Tracker fixed!

If you have all the notifications re-sent in your notification history, screen shot that and send it in so they have a rough timestamp of when it bugged out. Gld it is populated for you again!

Yah it happens to me often and its quite annoying but a simple relog fixes it.

Ive had it three times over the last few months, rendering it utterly useless.

Please remove the (now-pointless) bonging alerts

I suppressed the alerts via notification settings - really helps with this silliness.
