Yes, regular skill training will be more profitable than before.
Are you happy about lazy/AFK play being buffed?
As it should be.
I am happy this exploitive trick got removed.
How is active skill farming an exploit
Making new characters to obtain rewards intended for newbies and trade them to your main as often as you can biomass (twice a day) is exactly the kind of exploits an EVE player would do if it were possible.
Now it no longer is possible. Good riddance.
Since the other thread got locked for obvious reasons. What type of player and kinds of EVE groups, you think, would (ab)use the F out of something like this. And there’s your answer as to who you keep replying to
I am not convinced Bakster abused this exploit, he’s just as stubborn about anything else in the game.
It was not a good idea to remove this content
We’re lucky CCP isn’t listening to your ideas then!
I think it’s great that they removed this.
His character? Perhaps not. But he’s really just an astro turfed posting char.
No actual newbie suddenly emerges on the forums to then post day in day out on subjects newbies have no idea on. Eve it it DOES show him being clueless.
He’s very opinionated and stubborn, but also clueless enough not to be any of the ‘new players’ that pop up every now and then. He seems genuinely clueless.
There is a vacuum for people who liked to do active skill farming now
Luckily EVE is a big game, I’m sure they can find something else to do!
That and being part of FRAT is not mutually exclusive.
EVE got smaller because of this change
The quality of EVE improved by the removal of this abuse of AIR.
It got smaller and theres a vacuum for people who like to do active skill farming now. Seems like LSI price may also increase.
That is exactly the buff for skill farms that I was talking about.
And if you wish to ‘actively skill farm’ I suggest doing anything in the game that earns you ISK.
You can use ISK to buy injectors.
Its just a matter of time until CCP makes another mistake. (And Gerad defends it)
