Alliance Tournament XV: Final Standings

Hello Pilots

With Alliance Tournament XV concluded in it’s entirety, we now have the final standings for the tournament. While in previous years positioning outside of the top 16 was not considered, as tournaments in the future will be seeding all teams that appear in consecutive tournaments, teams may find it useful to see the complete list of standings from the tournament.

As the tournament is a double elimination, the ranking is determined using the following procedure:

  • Teams are split into groups that were eliminated at the same point of the bracket
  • Each team within the group is ranked according to the average points difference across the whole tournament
  • Groups are then ordered in the order of when their bracket was eliminated

So… defeat R0nin, still placed lower than them. My head hurts. (Just kidding I know how it works. We didn’t score many points in our matches.)

Congrats to Brave; top 8. They were kicking our ass in scrims for the last couple weeks before main tourney.

Last years 2nd place medal, this years 2nd place medal, this years prize ship STATS, this years prizes when?

What method did you use to divide positions 63 and 64, as the listed method has them sharing their spot?

Those two should actually both be 63, but it seems the forum is trying to be helpful and is making them 63 and 64. I haven’t split them yet.
