This topic is quite nooby and short. Eve’s comparison “thing” having maximum 10 characteristics is not enough for me, i would appreciate if you know some apps or websites and share with me.
The simple attribute “comparison” is rather worthless.
You have to fit the ship and apply skills to the fit to actually compare.
There’s apps for that, though I’m rather out of the loop to suggest anything.
What is it you’re trying to compare that the maximum of 10 characteristics isn’t enough for you?
Usually I’m only interested in three or four attributes. It’s rare I need more. And if I ever need more than 10 I can first compare one set of attributes and then compare the next set of attributes.
I think his main concern is that the available comparators are pretty spartan, which I often tind too.
In terms of figuring it out for ships though, the first respondent was correct; you have to just try out different fits and see how you get on.
I still sit for hours in the fitting tool to this day, trying out fits, tweaking. I mean, I enjoy it, but the point I’m making is the learning’s never done and the comparison tool isn’t helping you for ships, only individual modules.

Oh I missed that he wanted to use it to compare ships.
Ship comparisons are pretty varied, something a simple attribute comparison won’t show you. While you could see that some ships are faster than others, if it’s commonly fit as buffer armor it won’t be as fast as another ship that uses a shield tank or active armor tank.
To compare ships I usually just look at the roles of the ships to get a feeling for what their purpose is. Does it have EWAR bonuses and the ability to fit a covert ops cloak then it’s probably good for covert gameplay EWAR stuff. Things like that.
For module comparisons the compare window is great, I think.

I know you want the “fictional stats”, but this topic reminded me of MetaBallStudio and how they produce these spaceship size comparison videos. They start from smallest to the implausible in size.
At 7 minutes in you will see an Avatar from Eve Online.

not sure if i understand correctly … but from my thoughts on what you are referring it sounds lie you are looking for PYFA . it is an out of game fitting tool that takes into account skills , implants , boosters and basically everything you can think of to give you all the stats of each ship you fit. hope this helps
