One concern I have on the ADC is the new valid potential of outgunning T1 Destroyers thanks to this long lasting pseudo invulnerability. Is this really the direction AFs should go? The module is for survival but I can picture it mostly being used offensively to secure a kill.
There is always a risk to going glass cannon thou, also destroyers cost 1/5th of AFās so its not horrible if AFās counter destroyers. Same way that Rapid lights counter everything that moves.
This is incorrect. Once you have reasonable skills for what you do the most it is a good idea to cross train to other ships and weapon systems, especially on the frigate and cruiser level since the training times for hulls and weapon systems are so much shorter than BS and cap skills.
At this point there is still no reason to train assault frigates, the SP is better spent getting a cruiser hull to IV if you havenāt already.
While i agree that the hawk could use some more CPU (probably not in need of 20, but 10), there are quite a few fits that donāt require a CPU rig. Iāve got a LML fit and a rocket fit that both donāt require a rig/mod. You just need to meta the BCU (on a rocket fit, its a loss of like 6dps, so nbd).
The retribution will be quite fast after the changes. The fit iāve been using has been buffed pretty substantially and will be around 3200m/s cold w/ 300dps at 16km and 250dps at 25km using small beams. Its essentially a beam slicer on steroids.
On an almost unrelated side note, beam lazors are quite misleading with their ādpsā value because the important value is further right in the same row on the fitting screen.
