Can clone rats be handled with drones, I am currently flying with EC-300(5) and Hobgolblin I (5). if yes what is the method, drop drones and maintain distance.

I don’t think 5 hobgoblins will be enough. These ships also deal alot of dps, so you need a really good tank. A Stratios will be good enough, but not an Astero. You can also use a combat cruiser like a Vexor. With good skills and manual piloting, you can kill them in an Algos (T1 destoryer).
