Because the US befriended all Axis powers during or directly after WW2. They let tens of thousands former SS become US citizens, some of which have been directly linked to US torture programs in South America etc.

Japan and US both hated Socialism and the US used Japan as a bridgehead/buffer/strategic partner in the Pacific, because they couldn’t find any other. Okay, they also supported Thailand, which was also an Axis power and the base for the US invasion of Vietnam. They tried the same they did in Korea with Cambodia and Vietnam, efficiently destroying Cambodia, but in Vietnam it didn’t work. Some weaker attempts like the so-called civil rights support of the US for Tibet (aka supporting the culture of child molesting monks who rule brutally over a poor country, in order to weaken China).
The US supported Japanese economic development while they waged trade wars since during WW2 against any even remotely socialist country.

Definetely true.

Still, I find that history has a really weird sense of humor. After the US made sure the first row of attempts for global equality failed, after uncounted wars they waged, after lie campaign after lie campaign, after enslaving and imprisoning a huge part of their own population, they have finally reached their goal: global capitalism.
And in this exact same moment, the downfall of the US as the unquestionable No. 1 Superpower started. because they can’t find new culprits, they have to resort to the same protective measures any other capitalist country uses, they have a harder and harder time lying to their own population about “communist threat”, when their people see that the system within the US is simply botched. Maybe that’s the reason why Trump won: because Hillary represented the old idea of US hegemony and Trump really fits better to the actual reality of the US today, being a deeply divided country which is in the process of losing its former glory and in all that chaos starts to eat itself.

Weirdly funny, but also sad, because I know many Americans and I like them.

At least for WW2 the US is more like the 3rd guy.

Good vs. Bad fought and after Good won, but was understandably in bad condition after the hard fight, the US came along and cowardly hit it with a brick from behind.

To be fair: the population of the US had probably mostly good motives, but even the best motives can be used by crooked politicians for very ugly things. I mean we are talking about a time where General Motors, Ford and Chrysler supported the war efforts of Nazi Germany with their factories in Germany during WW2.

Not sure at whom your anger is targeted at, but should it be at me then no, I don’t feel offended. I feel sad for seeing how somebody, who showed his pride gets flagged.

I then find it amusing, how people think this is about “having testicles” when really it’s about readability (at least it’s for me). People running off into lots of swearing only bloat their commentary with words for which one sometimes first has to make a visit to the Urban Dictionary before one actually gets what is being said. Before you know it will people be speaking a language, which looks like English, but it’s really only an incomprehensible nonsense of made-up words.

EvE is an international game, with people from around the the world. There are corporations called after USSR like “soviet union” in EvE. It’s prosecuted in my country. USSR murdered more people than Third Reich. Do I feel offended by someone doing that? Who cares? I have to suck it up.

We are not the same, we grew in different cultures. I was raised to pass up women in doorways, also someone leaving the room/building for example. I would be burn at stake by some western feminist I presume.
