Crits Vs Residue - How to value Abyssal Miners?

Pioneer CI with three modules, one is an abyssal T2, and its residue exceed the 23% stat by a long shot in this ONE HOUR EXPERIMENT. I think it is too much. and Even if in the End it almost even out with the Abyssal ORE, it lost by 7 to 6 only, leaving 17k sq/mt in the field.

6 Crits in one hour is ok for a 2.30% Pioneer CI, but a total of 60 combined residues were a bit too much against the 23% stat… maybe I lost some calculation on the road… I’m also running in Alpha…

and what I think it could be altered a little… we should calculate the stats for hour? for cycle?

It should be the same and scalable… added rng can cause small variation in the effects of module stats applied to each char in strange ways…

I Run the experiment with another Alpha Toon,

3 Abyssal,

2,9 but 29% residue, had left 3k down in 5 min (10x 300) - avr 277 about 5mins to fill up

2,6 but 24% residue has left down 2k down in 5 min (8x277) - avrg 248 about 5 mins to fill up

2,6 but 22% residue left down only 1x211 in 5 min. - avr 277 about 5 mins to fill up

In the end the slower had only 1 failure, it was averaging out, with the same overall time to fill up the hold in just 5 mins, so even if on paper the 2.9 was faster, it had higher residue chance also…

This also very important how to sell this things… on a T2 Miner Pioneers stats go up to 3,5/3,0/3,0…

To say, it’s still very difficult to value these modules based on the residue% and the SQ/mt avrg alone… the 3,0 module with less then 22% seems a lot less strong than the 3,5 at 28% residue…

but in rl the gap is not so massive… still… maybe 5 mins try it’s not stats and all…

afterall 22% is still WAAAY off from 0%…

but that 3.5 module I got how much is worth on the contracts market?

And the 3.0 at 22% residue???

One is worth 50Mil and the other 40Mil?

Or are both worth the same?

PS: I’m making this price up, Mutaplasmids Rolling has a cost… and the recover process for the Abyssal miners seems broken to me… it just gives back a couple of valueless minerals…
