Correct. That is why it’s “whoever” and not “whomever” as you asserted. Whomever is for the object.
Whoever is the subject and whomever is the object
Yes, which is why your statement here:
..Is incorrect.
Much like most of what you post.
I looked up example after example and came here to admit you were right. No need to be snarky. ■■■■■■■ eve players.
Then don’t be so confidently wrong.
I’ll be more careful when they answer my question
Glen, you started it, and you were wrong.
I think you need to give Namdor a proper apology, not that weird shifting the focus halfway through to blaming the EVE community for his having better grammar than you. It’s simple, just say ”I was wrong, and I’m sorry I posted that reply. I can see now that I was arrogant, and I thank you for helping me. I’ll better myself in the future.”
Okay. I’m sorry
Can we get to my question now?
After all of the trolling you have personally thrown at me for mining in high sec?
If I’m so dumb for mining in high sec using an Orca and Hulk, how much can i make simply mining in Null? Please account for scanning, searching for otjer systems, etc.. at the end of the day, how much ISK, after selling to the corp, could i walk away with?
500 billion? 1 trillion? How much?
What if I use a Rorqual instead of an Orca?
Were those serious questions? WoUlD i BE abLE tO maKe a TriLlIoN iSk PeR dAY?!?!?11?1? Are we supposed to treat that like a sincere question asked in good faith instead of childish idiocy?
What underlying point are you even trying to get at here? Do you actually believe that highsec mining is going to yield more ISK - per hour, per day, or by whatever other insipid denominator you prefer - than nullsec mining?
Do you believe those activities are part of day-to-day nullsec alliance mining?
That’s what so many people in these forums have been saying. In this thread, multiple people have laughed at what I make in High Sec. I can mine moon ore for 3 days without scanning down a single anomaly. that’s three days of straight mining. If I buy a second Athanor, I can do it for 6 days.
If I’m being called stupid for mining like that, and not going to Null, I think it’s a fair question to ask how much I’d make in Null.
See? I was called stupid for mining moon ore. It’s fair to ask for an exact amount one would get in Null. This is not a hard question. It’s a very simple question.
I find it very amusing that it’s making people in Low and Null uncomfortable.
Reddit says I can only make twice what I make now. That’s not enough to cover the loss of my ships. 110m per hour with scanning down anomalies (which takes time and requires Umbrella protection). If you count all of the time scanning and traveling, the end result isn’t that much more than I make now.
Nobody has said you would make a trillion isk a day.
That’s because 30m/hr/character is very low (even for high sec).
Great? If you do this in null, the ores are actually worth mining.
The answer is ultimately “it depends” because there are many variables. For you, specifically, I think Reddit is probably being pretty optimistic.
Don’t lose them then?
What time scanning and traveling? Explain what sov null mining looks like in the Glenduil-verse.
They literally said I make peanuts compared to what I would make in Null.
I know what I make in High Sec. By comparison, for that to be peanuts, I’d be making billions an hour in Null. I exaggerated a little when I said trillions, but I’m not sorry. I’ll do it again.
I make more than 30m per hour.
Okay. How long can I mine it? 3 days? What will be my take home pay for that at the end of just one day? Still haven’t seen that answered. It’s not a hard question. What’s the number? Reddit says 110m an hour on average. That’s not that much.
Okay- help me understand what you know about this game? Are you aware of anomalies? Do you know about scanning down such anomalies? Where should I begin?
If there are anomalies worth mining in null sec and that’s where the best mining is done, I wanted to know how rare those were and how hard they are to find.
Anomalies are scanned down using probes. Do you understand now? Do you know what probes are?
The number you’ve previously given was 60m/hr running two characters, or 30m/hr/char.
Has it changed significantly since then?
As long as you want, sport. There are a lot of moons out there.
Sure am!
Anomalies aren’t scanned down at all; signatures are scanned. Anomalies are simply available to warp to directly. There are “hidden” ore sites that do need to be scanned; these are cosmic signatures.
Hidden sites are a relatively new addition and not really a significant aspect of industrialized mining operations, as you seem to think.
Because I don’t split up the cash between them. They’re computer code. Nothing more.
And the Orca doesn’t make ISK. It doesn’t mine. It supports. Do I have to draw a picture for you with crayons?
And your refusal to answer the question has clearly answered it for me. Null Sec is garbage all around. Thanks for playing.
You have a whole account that is basically just for sitting there and assisting with ISK generation that you’re spending money or PLEX on.
That you want to just ignore that in the accounting probably explains a lot about why you make so little.
Please understand that I am fine with you being a brokie.
Oh you helped prove I’m not a brokie. I can’t make much more in Null than I do now.
Again, 30m/hr/char is low even for highsec. That you don’t like null is an entirely separate matter.
The same combo would net me only twice that in Null sec. That’s not enough of a lure.

You would only run the same combo in nullsec if you were extremely stupid. A person with a brain would drop the orca, run two exhumers, and rely on a more established corpmate for their boosts.
Sure thing, buddy. I’ll be sure to do that the second I go to Null Sec. Of course, you just called every single pilot of an Industrial Command ship stupid because those ships don’t generate much ISK by themselves. It’s a waste of everyone’s time to pilot one of those alone. Sitting there in siege mode making your own light show for hours… just nothing but a waste of time. Can’t even align to escape if needed.
