Sorry if this appears to trivialize the effort, but as a long time developer, I know how incredibly easy it is to write a database script to do this. The problem is not difficulty. The problem is priority and lack of communication to players. This is something that affects extremely few players so it has little priority. So… fair enough… but someone needs to be a squeeky wheel so here I am.
to do what ?
update items set type_id=:newid where id=:oldid
TADAAAAA
Yeh my dad and probably others quit years ago because of that, spent months fueling a pos and researching bpo’s to get max numbers (before 20 was maximum) and ccp changed it without even a second glance… to make it more accessible for new players… which it didnt do lets be honest…
Does anyone have any information or news about this topic now since last patch?
I trashed mine. CCP can go ■■■■ themselves with their inability to think things through before forcing players to adapt to nonsensical month-long removal of their investment.
I thought the CSM was here to give them outside opinion, I guess they only gave them head.
(I did not trash them, it’s a joke, I don’t really care even though I think this is very bad way to handle updates. That being said I think it would be better to move to CSM section so that they may have a better idea of the future, which seems gloomy ATM)
send all unwanted defunct bpo to me. i wont pay for them but at least they will be out of your inventory
5 months later, and still many billions lost in defunct blueprints with no response from CCP.
Do they simply not care at all ?
Why paying customers Quit, Lesson 1001. More news at 11.
You see, in this world, there is two kinds of issues : those with a loaded priority, and those who wait.
You wait.
(reference for the youngest)
Ouch, it seems they would at least make a buy order to buy them back. They could do this, but there may have been too few who bought those blueprints. I’m sorry for your loss.
most are researched BPO which can’t be sold
i think u should get refunds for these from ccp, maybe im wrong.
