I would really like to be able to delete/remove Shared Folders that users have added me to without my knowledge as well as any Processed Applications to or from corporations that I have accepted or rejected. Reading online it seems that this is an intentional design so I’d imagine posting this won’t do much good but as someone who really dislikes clutter and unnecessary extraneous data it sure would be great if I could do so.
So my question is if there is any possible way to do this such as a file I can delete or anything of the sort?

I don’t think that sort of thing is even possible? Normally you get a pop-up and it asks permission for whatever the other player is asking you to do. Such as, joining private chat, joining a corporation, or getting invited to a HyperNet scam session.
If they granted you group access to a chat channel, you can leave it. Read Access Lists here on the wiki or link back what “Shared Folders” you are talking about. You basically contact the admin of the access list and request to be removed. If they don’t respond, then file a support ticket with the details and get them to remove you from the group.

Thank you for the informative response. Without a doubt I have never spoken to the User who created the Shared Folder nor have I accepted any invitation for one. As a new player I am carefully examining each action before I take it as this is a very large and complicated game. I did try deleting the Shared Folder both with/without connecting to it and I cannot find a way to or to even remove it from my Locations Folder and/or remove my affiliation with it. I have emailed the User via in-game Mail and have not heard a response. The folder uses Chinese characters and this is a concern for me because I have played several MMOs and have encountered many a Chinese hackers.
I suppose then at this point I will file a ticket as a last resort. I try to avoid bothering moderators if I can correct the issue myself.
