Demystifying the Alliance Tournament - Behind the Scenes panel lineup (Tonight!)

This month, EVE University and EVE Rookies are teaming up to make the Alliance Tournament more accessible to everyone - especially new players who’ve never quite understood what the hell is going on.

Last night we had an amazing Scrim Review session with Kevin Grumman (EVE Rookies AT Practice Team Coordinator, commentator and general AT enthusiast), who walked us through practice match footage and explained the tactics, setups, and decisions behind each fight.

Tonight (Sun 19 Oct, 20:00 EVE)
We’re going behind the scenes with an incredible lineup of guests who help make the AT happen - including CCP Zelus (Community Dev & Tournament Master, and EVE Uni alumnus)!

Ever wondered what it takes to actually run and broadcast the AT? Commentators, production leads, and organisers will share what goes into pulling off one of EVE’s biggest events.

Featuring:

  • CCP Zelus

  • Kevin Grumman

  • Bei Artjay

  • The Bazzalisk

  • Wingnut

  • Mystical Might

  • Chad Flame

When: Sun 19 Oct – 20:00 EVE
Where: EVE University Discord (open to everyone): https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Connecting_to_EVE_University_Services_as_a_Guest

Next up later this month:
“What It’s Like to Fly in the AT” – Wed 22 Oct - panel with previous AT pilots, including winners
Post-AT Debrief & Tools Showcase – Sat 1 Nov - panel wand debrief with some of this year’s AT pilots

We’ll also be hosting Watch Parties for the three days of the AT itself and have lots of big EVE names planning to drop by. So if you’re new to the AT and want to enjoy it with some fellow newbies and some subject matter experts, the EVE Uni Discord server is the place to be.
