undocking is REQUIRED for some PVP, but does not IMPLY it. Learn the difference. If it was both required for it, and did imply it, then it would be logically the same thing, leading to the absurd conclusion that “undocking in an empty system is PVP”
Just because you make yourself available to PVP when you undock, does not mean there will actually be PVP. “undocking is consent to PVP” does not mean that undocking IMPLIES PVP, which is required for “less undocking is less PVP” to make sense.

It was a good change. The “old way” is still there for people who wants it and it is more simplicity for newbees. When I started the game 3 years ago I remember it took me a few days to understand the concept of skill books needed to be injected before being able to train the skills…

Unlocking a frigate to go a few jumps for a skillbook does not create meaningful PvP interactions, or meaningful interactions of any kind. It’s make work. And make work is bad.

Meaningful PvP does not include popping a t1 frigate or corvette that costs next to nothing when it’s going 2 jumps over to buy and instantly use a skillbook. And yes, I’m sure after you search for hours you’ll come up with a singular relevant example of something more meaningful.

How much did destruction decline when this was introduced. Find the date on the graph, clip it into an image in here if you want, and show the meaningful drop in destruction. Because if there is no meaningful drop, then this didn’t stop any relevant amount of PvP interaction.

Making a new toon, then using AP to get to jita to buy SB and coming back with 4 out of 8 having been podded in the route is literally not meaningful. I just undocked and used AP again and they did not die this time.
