Difficulty Finding a Good Fit

Either I don’t know how to use the recruitment utility, or I’m not the sort of player most people want in their corp. True, I have very little time for the game, but I would at least like to have fun for the few hours available to me each month. I just can’t seem to filter out a match above 40% since starting in May. Which is why I haven’t played in weeks. Well, that and FW where all my stuff is has gone to absolute dogshit.

I did get some unsolicited invites, and the one pirate training place looked like it could be what I want, but they were very active in nullsec and I don’t have the time or in-game resources to start there from scratch.

That’s where I land, basically. There have to be thousands of corps, and the law of averages would suggest some of them are casual, don’t care if I commit crimes, or if I don’t log in for weeks, won’t tax my LP, and don’t require mandatory voice comms. Hell, even speaking different languages is not a dealbreaker at this point.

Advice? Ridicule? Lay it on me.

You’ve listed a bunch of things you expect from a corp, and yet, nothing you have to offer a corp. What do you bring to the table, and why should some corp extend you an invitation? Corps, especially smaller ones, don’t exist solely to provide you content whenever you deem to login once in a while. It’s a partnership of people working together, and that requires you invest your own time, effort, taxes, etc., if you want to be part of the group.

If you’re looking for a zero-commitment situationship, join one of those hisec mega corps. They’re casual, take anyone, and will expect nothing of you (some don’t even tax). However, you also shouldn’t expect much in return.

how many skill points do you have, as if you want to live in a space and reap the rewards it offers unfortunately you have to put in what you get out
