Disable accessability features in Valve's Proton? (Sticky Keys redux)

I’m experiencing “sticky keys” when running multiple clients via Valve’s Proton. Specifically the CTRL key. Solo client is just fine. Three different systems running different distros (Ubuntu, Arch and OpenSuse with KDE/I3/XFCE)).

Has anybody figured out a way to configure this feature or totally shut down the accessibility features in Proton/Wine? No thread I’ve followed has ended up with a working result so far.
