The Damavik isn’t… super great right now.
Actually it’s straight up bad, and that’s before factoring in the existence of the Kikimora which is amazing.
Anyways if you want a nano kite Damavik I’d say to check out Navy Slicer/Retribution kite fits for inspiration; they run “armor” tanks insofar as they just use an ancillary armor repairer- which uses nanite paste charges to increase rep amount for however long it has paste loaded- as their tank, in addition to just having long range.
So for the Damavik it’d probably go from that shield fit- which is actually terrible for Trig ships because they have basically no base shield to begin with- to something like this:
[Damavik, kite fit?]
Small Ancillary Armor Repairer, Nanite Repair Paste
IFFA Compact Damage Control
Entropic Radiation Sink II
5MN Quad LiF Restrained Microwarpdrive
J5 Enduring Warp Disruptor
Fleeting Compact Stasis Webifier
Light Entropic Disintegrator II, Meson Exotic Plasma S

With Meson ammo and the T2 gun it can potentially hit 221 DPS at full spool- you probably won’t get to full spool before a given target is dead unless you try for a cruiser or something, and this has the added problem that it’s probably something like 130-140 DPS before spool (not sure; pyfa doesn’t give pre-spool damage for the disintegrator guns).
Cap lasts 3m10s, and it goes 3,642 m/s cold with near-Slicer like agility; quite good. You can option for a third polycarb for more speed/agility, or run a capacitor rig if you want. Note however that that cap endurance is for prop+point+gun, and doesn’t include time running the web (which is primarily defensive, to keep people away from you) or the AAR, which when loaded with paste should be heated and pulsed.
Considering however the expense of the hull- and the guns (and the ammo…)- I’d recommend adding a fair bit of bling; probably a minimum of a faction MWD+point, maybe T2 rigs, bling web, maybe try and squeeze a smartbomb on there to try and blap ECM drones or something.
Don’t forget to pack drones; I’d recommend Acolytes since the Disintegrators do Therm+EXP damage and Acos are still quite fast so they can be put on someone far from you fairly easily, as well as able to chase other point kiters.
Main downsides of this is that you waste the utility highs which sucks, since that’s supposed to be one of the standout features of the Trig hulls.
