Why should I care? What makes you special?

Native Abyssal Pricing

Native Capital Pricing

The tool also includes other QoL features that you’ll find throughout your usage!

Why did you make this tool?

I thought jEveAssets wasn’t being developed anymore, so I started on this (They are back, btw!).

It’s an EXE, super scary, what about my privacy?

There are three data sources in this app, most of the data comes from Eve ESI directly, for which you login to ESI directly through eve onlines own website. Live pricing data for market items is updated from ESI, and other (non-abyssal) pricing comes from edencom.net once an hour. The app sends your data externally in two situations: 1) if you report a bug (it sends what’s in the form only), and 2) if you choose to use abyssal pricing, and your abyssal itemids will need to be sent to mutamarket.com to determine pricing. There is a privacy notice for this, and it’s an opt-in feature. The code is fully open source for anyone to go and look through to confirm that no data is sent out, and our privacy policy also covers this > Privacy Policy | EC Trade

The EXE isn’t signed, and defender tells me so, also scary!

Cryptographic signing costs money; it’s something we’ll look into eventually. If you have concerns, again, it’s open source; feel free to look at the code or run it through VirusTotal.

I found a bug. What should I do?

In the settings menu, there is a report a bug tool - we appreciate your report.

V3.0.0 Released

Working on a new release, 3.0.0 - Dropping shortly >

Summary

Release 3.0.0: a dependency platform upgrade, four user-requested features and fixes, and a pre-release cleanup.

User requests

  • Resizable columns in every data table (Market Orders report). Drag a header edge; widths are saved per table, and double-click resets.
  • Sort assets by jumps to a system (Proximity picker) and filter or sort by region.
  • Industry job installer: shows which character installed each job, including corporation jobs.
  • Mutamarket sync fix: abyssal module prices never updated, because the API now wraps responses in { data } and every response failed validation. Confirmed against the live API. A zero estimate now counts as “no price”.
  • Beta label removed from the startup screen.

Fixes found while testing the UI

  • Table headers now stay pinned when scrolling.
  • Market Orders virtualization measured an element that never scrolls, so it likely rendered every row, and rows didn’t line up with the headers.
  • Rows no longer wrap onto extra lines (Industry Jobs rows were about 130px tall).
  • Re-encrypting stored login data after a key rotation could overwrite a newer pending write. Covered by tests.

Platform

  • Electron 42 → 45 (Node 24). Stored login data moves to the async safeStorage API, and existing data stays readable.
  • TypeScript 6 → 7. ESLint is replaced by Oxlint with type-aware rules (typescript-eslint can’t run on TS 7 yet), and eslint-plugin-security runs as a JS plugin.
  • vitest 5, jsdom 30, vite-plugin-electron 1.2. The main and preload processes are now built by Vite, replacing the separate esbuild step.
  • CI and release run on Node 24 with actions/checkout and setup-node v7.
