EVE 20th Anniversary Collectors Edition Update

Recently we’ve been in contact with Limited Run Games to express our concerns about fast approaching shipping estimates that they state on their web site for the delivery of the 20th Anniversary Collectors Edition.

They have informed us that they expect to start shipping to US recipients by the end of this week (Friday 2 August) and EU recipients by the end of August. We’re pushing for more firm details regarding dates for shipping to EU customers. What we can confirm is that notifications will be sent out to recipients once shipping begins.

We understand the frustration and disappointment caused by these delays and will endeavor to keep you informed once we receive more information.

Update - 1 August - 17:00 UTC
Limited Run Games have let us know that they expect to start shipping on Monday 5th August (next week) for US recipients. Their website will be updated to reflect the ‘Shipping’ status once shipping starts. Email notifications will be sent to recipients when their order has been shipped.

We’re pushing for more details concerning EU shipping and will update here when we have more information.

Limited Run Games have confirmed with us that they have started shipping to US and Canada. We will let you know once we have more details concerning shipments to EU.

We’ve been made aware that players in the US and Canada are starting to receive their shipping notifications or the actual Anniversary Edition itself.

We’ve been informed by Limited Run Games that the components of the package destined for EU recipients are on route to their distribution hub in Europe, where they will be packaged and shipped. We will update here when we have more details.

Update - 22 August - 09:10 UTC
With US customers receiving their anniversary editions we have been asked when the PLEX compensation for additional shipping cost will be distributed.

Once all players (US and EU) have received their shipments we will be able to be provided a definitive list from Limited Run Games and start the PLEX distribution.

Limited Run Games have assured is that the anniversary editions destined for EU recipients are on route to their center in Sweden from where they will be distributed. We will continue to provide updates as we get them from Limited Run Games.

Update - 26 September - 10:30 UTC
We’ve received confirmation from Limited Run Games that the components of the EU orders has reached their distribution centre in Sweden. They are working on packaging the components and will then start shipping.

Update - 8 October - 16:40 UTC
Limited Run Games have assured us that shipping of the EU orders will begin within the next couple of weeks.

We have decided to distribute the PLEX compensation for shipping taxes, detailed in this blog . If you have not received any PLEX and an email regarding compensation for the shipping taxes then please contact support@eveonline.com from the email address associated with your order.

EDIT: This post was updated to reflect that all orders of the collectors edition should have received an email regarding PLEX compensation for shipping taxes.

We are pleased to report that Limited Run Games have contacted us to confirm that shipping is underway for EU recipients of the Anniversary Collectors Edition.

Thank you for pushing them for an update! Do you happen to have an update on the “bonus” PLEX that will be given out as well? I believe it was originally supposed to be sent when shipping starts, is that still the case?

Thank you for this. Someone mentioned this before, but when will CCP be providing the extra PLEX for unforeseen shipping, customs and taxes costs?

I hope the error regarding Monday August 5th is typographical on CCP’s end in their rush to inform us, and not Limited Run Games using an incorrect calendar.

UPDATE-US recipient here EVE 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition - Estimated Shipping Date: Aug 1 - Aug 31 no exact date yet.

…and I wasn’t aware at the moment that the Anniversary actually was in 2023 so the thing is taking well over a year. Better late than never? (And fingers crossed for all who bought it so the quality at least is good). :crossed_fingers:

I have been sorely disappointed looking at my patio every day when I come home and seeing that there is no Fedo plushie sitting on my patio chair. Every time I fly a megathron my heart is saddened that it is not glistening white gold[although I guess I could correct this of my own accord now…] Every time I pull up to a stop light with my window down I long for a CD player installed in my truck, that hopefully one day in q4 2024 I can blast the songs of old and have people stare at me like I’m a loon more so than they already do.
