Who is Eve Defence Force?

We are one of the oldest corporations still around in Eve today, having formed back in 2003. veterans of many wars, and founders of Draccous Station for which all Amarr Faction Fortizars are based.

What do we do?

As part of Imperium, we engage in a variety of activities. For your average member we have multiple PvP ops each day, be it a roam, or a home defence op. Larger ops are sporadic, occurring only when the need arises but you will get use of your shiny toys if you join us.

If you’re more into the PvE side of things we have Agents throughout our space, and moon mining available for you to engage in (subject to a tax), and if you’re a trader, our markets are always in need of stocking up with new contracts.

So what do we want from you?

I will not lie to any prospective recruit. We have fallen on hard times, it goes with the territory of being almost 20 years old, and CCP’s decisions over the last few years, many of our longer term members have either left or had families and play on reduced hours. If you join us you’re joining a project, a project with the aim of rebuilding us to our former strength.

O.K. what are your rules?

Very simple:

  • Play regularly.
  • Be sociable on TS and Discord.
  • Join fleets. Current requirement is 2 fleets per month (goes up in war time).

To be clear, our average fleet is 30 ish guys jumping into combat 'ceptors, taking a wormhole or filament and flying out to see what we can find, tackle something big and try provoke a fight. It is not 900 people on the same grid duking it out in some tidi lagfest. What we want are people who aren’t bothered about there being 100s of people in corp. chat, we don’t want people who log off because chat is empty, we want people who love small scale PvP and don’t mind when the big fights happen once every couple of years.

Sure, you can do that in a megacorp. but where is the fun in that? Be part of something, be part of building something, don’t be a number. Join us if you want to have fun.
