Ï have just moved to a new computer and played for several days. Now when starting the Eve Launcher I get the pop up “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device”.
This is the screen that pops up when you ask to install new software on to your machine.
Is there a way I can turn this off for eve without doing so for every app?
Do a search for “User Account Control” and set the slider to match your risk tolerance. Mine is set 1 step down from the top and I can’t recall it ever prompting for Eve launcher changes.
That is where mine is set to as well. It was also set there on my last computer, and I never had a problem there. And I never had a problem on this computer for the first few days of playing on it. It just appeared today.
