Pardon me if this was answered before, but how do I run this client without setting a Steam appID? I would not like to use Steam with my EVE online client, and my account is not a Steam account either.
Which version ?
6.0 works just fine for me.
After that follow the Instriuctions on EVE University. They cover everything except the DXVK Setup.

For libprotobuf.so.16 errors after ubuntu updated to version 17
