@DrysonBennington
It seems both plausible and implausible at the same time.

I have something for you to ponder about @DrysonBennington

Calculate your age and the number of times the sun had rotated since your birth.

///

Apparently the end result depends on how the astronomer like yourself Mr Dryson decides to plug into the calculator.

The top number is the number of days irl I had been on this earth and not counting how many times since when I was just a single cell.

Maths can be tricky at times like exact like how the personal solar‘lighthouse’ has spun 9 extra times before birth.

If the largest black hole in the Universe collided with The Eridanus Supervoid, what would happen?

Would the largest black hole consume the Eridanus Supervoid and create something new, a doorway to a heavenly new universe or would the new creation wrought from the struggle between the Eridanus Supervoid consuming the largest blackhole in the Universe create a doorway through which hellish unimaginables would creep into our universe from looking for us?

You can’t consume nothing.

The supervoid is a large area of space, with less (visible) stuff in it than other areas of space.

If a large black hole appeared or was moved there it would just have less stuff falling into it than if it was anywhere else.

No portals to mythical realms that way. You need some kind of arcane rite.

Yes, you are right.

You can’t be certain of Ton not tearing a rip in the fabric of space-time inside the Supervoid.

1. The Dormant State

A black hole is not an active vacuum; it only “eats” what drifts directly into its gravitational pull. [1, 2]

  • Inactivity: When its surroundings are empty, it goes dormant, emitting no bright accretion disks, glowing jets, or radiation.
  • Gravity Remains: Even with nothing to consume, its gravitational pull remains. It continues to warp space and can still be orbited by stars or planets, acting just like any other mass of the same size. [1, 2, 3, 5]

2. Hawking Radiation

In 1974, physicist Stephen Hawking proposed that black holes aren’t entirely black. [1]

  • Energy Leak: Pairs of virtual particles and antiparticles are constantly popping into existence in the vacuum of space. When this happens at the exact edge of a black hole’s event horizon, one particle can fall in while the other escapes into space.
  • Mass Loss: The escaping particle takes a tiny fraction of the black hole’s energy with it, causing the black hole to slowly lose mass. [1, 2, 3, 5]

3. Evaporation and Ultimate Fate

Because the black hole is losing mass, it will eventually shrink if it isn’t “fed.”

  • Shrinking: As a black hole loses mass, its temperature slightly increases, which causes it to radiate energy even faster. [1, 2]
  • Timescales: This process is incredibly slow. A black hole with the mass of our sun would take about \(10^{67}\) years to evaporate completely—vastly longer than the current age of the universe. [1]
  • The Final Flash: As it gets smaller and smaller, the evaporation accelerates into a runaway cascade, ultimately ending in a massive, final burst of radiation. [1]

In the immediate term, practically nothing changes. The black hole simply waits in the dark until it encounters new matter, or slowly fades away on a timeline that defies human comprehension. [1, 2, 3]

With numerous black holes being fed to the Supervoid and constantly evaporating over a period of years, it could be possible that matter pulled in from the edges of the Supervoid could possibly create another Big Bang moment inside of the Supervoid by combining matter and Primordal matter inside of the Supervoid. In when two virtual particles exist at the horizon of a black hole, one is able to fall into the black hole while the other particle escapes with a small amount of the blackholes mass.
If a virtual pair contains both Einstein matter, and primordal matter escapes, then perhaps the mass of the blackhole in the virtual particle is all that is needed to start the process of a Big Bang elsewhere in the Universe.

If there is a process that created the Big Bang from Primordial space-time, there is a process that will create Primordial space-time from the Big Bang.

That seems very speculative at best.

Also I still don’t see what the supervoid has to do with it, the same applies for any other bit of space.

Dear DrysonBennington Science & Technology Desk,

I wanted to share a highly detailed, scientifically grounded world-building concept that explores what happens when you push planetary chemistry and alien biology to their absolute, heavy-metal limits.

We have designed a theoretical exoplanet that turns standard astronomy on its head, featuring an ecosystem where the lifeforms are made of structural gold.

The Planet’s Chemistry

  • The Ground: A dry, powdery desert of pure lead dust mixed with red and black copper oxides.

  • The Sky: A dense, 95% methane atmosphere with a volatile 2% pinch of oxygen, creating a deep aquamarine sky that occasionally erupts into rolling methane firestorms.

  • The Weather: It doesn’t rain water; it pours heavy, deafening torrents of liquid mercury droplets that bead up and race across the metallic sands.

The Biology: Golden Mushrooms

To survive the crushing atmospheric pressure and the destructive mercury storms, life on this planet has evolved into a resilient, metallic, mushroom-like morphology:

  • 24-Karat Armor: The mushroom caps are made of highly polished, pure bio-gold. Because mercury cannot stick to gold, the toxic rain slips right off their domes.

  • Super-Conductive Nervous Systems: The internal structure and underground “root” networks (mycelium) are wired with a gold-copper alloy. They act as living circuitry, transferring bio-electric energy across the planet at lightning speed.

  • The Gold-Pooping Microbes: At the base of the ecosystem are heavy-metal-eating microbes (inspired by Earth’s real-life Cupriavidus metallidurans bacteria) that eat the planet’s toxic crust and excrete pure gold nuggets, fueling the planet’s golden evolution.

This concept merges real-world chemistry, thermodynamics, and microbiology into a striking visual landscape—a silent forest of giant, glittering gold structures under a cyan sky.

I thought this would make a fascinating segment or feature on how scientists and writers use real laws of physics to dream up truly alien worlds. Let me know if you’d like to dive deeper into the science behind it!

Best regards,
Frostpacker

Let’s beam this into space and see what return signal we come across.

What is the distance between objects if one object is 5 foot tall and the same image is the size of Planck

10:00 PM
This is a classic angular size / similar triangles problem.

Setting Up the Problem
If an object of height h appears in an image of size s, and the image size equals the Planck length, we can find the distance using the similar triangles relationship:

Where:

h = actual height = 5 ft = 1.524 m
s = image size = Planck length = 1.616 × 10⁻³⁵ m
D = distance to the object
Solving for D:

D=h×dsD= sh×d

But here d (the image distance / focal length) matters. In the simplest interpretation — where the “image” is the object seen at distance D with an angular size equal to the Planck length at 1 meter — we use:

D=hs×1mD=sh ×1 m
Calculation
D=1.524m 1.616×10−35 D= 1.616×10 −35m 1.524 m

D≈9.43×10 34 meters
D≈9.43×10 34 meters

To Put That in Perspective
Comparison Distance
Result \~9.43 × 10³⁴ m
Observable Universe \~8.8 × 10²⁶ m
Ratio to Universe \~10⁸ times larger than the observable universe
So the object would need to be roughly 100 million times farther away than the edge of the observable universe for a 5-foot-tall person to subtend an angle corresponding to the Planck length. This is a purely theoretical/mathematical result, as such a distance has no physical meaning in our universe.

If the distance didn’t have any physical meaning, then dreaming would not exist.

\~9.43 × 10³⁴ m is the perspective distance between a 5 foot object in Einstein Space and the same sized object at the size of Planck that is seen in the dream. We can say that \~9.43 × 10³⁴ m has meaning because unlike Einstein space the human eye is unable to see that far while at the same time the eye and human brain is able to render a 5 foot object the size of Planck inside the human brain which allows us to see the Planck sized object.

The distance between the eye and visual cortex is The average distance from the eye to the primary visual cortex is approximately 55–60 millimeters along the neural pathway and takes approximately 50 to 100 milliseconds to cross the distance. Perspectively speaking, the light is also crossing \~9.43 × 10³⁴m of space-time that is located between the eye and the visual cortex, definitely faster than the speed of light while still traveling at the speed of light.

With everyone having different eye to visual cortex distances, there is also a wavelength function generated between people standing side by. The curvature of space-time inside the human thought processes.

Huth’s constant does prove something, the math proves the something. If the math didn’t exist, like the math doesn’t exist inside a black hole, then Huth’s Constant wouldn’t exist. But since we are able to measure a black hole due to the gravitational effects upon the surroundings of the black hole, we can measure the effect of Huth’s Constant on sentient life’s surroundings by determining the artistic and visual outcome of each human when put to paper, paint, pencil, or music. Wherever the diameter of Huth’s Constant intersects in the Universe there will be something extraordinary that we have never witnessed before.

What exists at the distance of Huth’s Constant from Earth, in any direction?
