The Legion expansion is right around the corner, releasing on Tuesday, 11:00 UTC 27 May
Patch notes for EVE Legion are live now, giving you ample time to make plans for patch day! Just a reminder, there is an extended downtime planned for 27 May when we deploy EVE Legion.
Looking for the nitty-gritty? We’ve got an In Focus stream featuring our talented developers giving you a more hands-on look at Freelance Jobs, new ships, sovereignty upgrades, exploration content, the corporation palette, and more!

Logistics are going to pretty tanky with this update again.
I mean, Guardians and Zarmazd will get 37.5% more HP from the 1600er plates they usually are fitted with (that means BASE hp, before resistances) AND will get ~11% higher Resis of all their Resistance Mods. We might see 100k+ eHP Guardians after Fleetboost in Effect.
Do I read that correctly that the ship does not get a direct damage bonus, just a max-spoolup limit? Which means 60 cycles instad of the normal 30 the Leshak has to reach it’s maximum damage? That means it actually will spool up slower than a Leshak, but surpass it in the end? That will make it extremely vulnerable to DeSpooling by TrackingDisruptors/SensorDamps/ECM, right?
The tracking and range bonus (especially when combined with the benefits the Basiton Mode offers) on the other hand look pretty scary. Will it get more than 120km Range with Mystic?
this is a nice change, still waiting for the day when i zoom into a ships hull and the zoom goes straight to the kill marks was hoping the Vehement would get more love its still not equal to the Navy version and still cost more… less calibration les low slots less armor hp’s and the 10 percent web bonus is not close to the 20 percent strength and optimal range the navy gets with scram/disruptors…
A direct access to the benefits window from the Neocom.
This will be visible to:
Alpha clones, as a persistent reminder of what Omega can offer.
Omega clones nearing expiration, giving a timely reminder.
The patch isn’t even live and I already have found reasons to complain. Another unremovable icon in the neocom, killing even more of what precious little space is available…
And looking at the map screenshot, CCP has not improved the data display of the new map in any way, shape or form. It looks still way worse, harder to read, harder to understand than the old map.
Yeah, if it’s something permanently on the Neocom, that’s going to be annoying. However, I’m hoping the ‘‘Omega clones nearing expiration’’, means it’s actually not going to be visible for Omega unless you’re about to expire. I can live with that.
Outside of Bastion, it’s still tankier than the Leshak and has a higher overall damage cap - but does less initial damage than the Leshak (as it doesn’t get any base damage or RoF bonuses).
The native range, tracking, MJD and armor repair bonuses will be quite interesting - especially with 8 low slots and the Surgical Strike rollback.
What I don’t think people appreciate is that it will do 1.75x more damage than a Leshak regardless of whether it’s in Bastion or not (it will just take longer to spool-up without the RoF bonus with Bastion).
Abyssal damage mods skewed towards RoF could prove really, really interesting… With trimarks, amulets and a pair of Abyssal plates - this thing could be an absolute beast.
