Hey capsuleers,

I’ve been building and maintaining a free appraisal tool for my corp (Iron Whales) for a while now, and it’s grown into something I think is genuinely useful beyond just us — so figured I’d share it here.

What it does

  • Bulk appraisal — paste a cargo/hangar manifest, get an instant total. Supports Buy/Sell/Split pricing across Jita, Amarr, Hek, Dodixie, Rens, plus nullsec staging markets like C-J6MT and UALX-3 — most tools only cover the trade hubs, this one doesn’t stop there.
  • Ore & ice reprocessing calculator — compares raw ore value vs. reprocessed mineral value side by side, with a proper yield calculator (skills, structure, rig, security modifier, implant) instead of making you guess your %.
  • Abyssal module pricing — mutated module values pulled via MutaMarket.
  • Screenshot appraisal — upload (or just Ctrl+V paste) a screenshot of your cargo hold or a contract, and it reads the items straight off the image. No more manually retyping a 40-line manifest.
  • Price alerts + undercut watcher — get notified when an item crosses a price threshold, or when someone undercuts your sell orders.
  • Portfolios — save appraisals, track their value over time, compare multiple portfolios on one chart.

The part I’m actually proud of: live BPO/BPC pricing

This one I haven’t seen anywhere else. Blueprints don’t trade on the market — they only move through contracts — so every appraisal tool either ignores them or just guesses off production cost. Instead, this crawls Jita’s public item-exchange contracts every hour and builds a searchable index: paste a blueprint name (or a whole list, works with a direct paste from your inventory window, columns and all) and see every current contract selling it, with ME/TE, runs, and asking price, sorted cheapest first.

It’s free, no account needed for the basics

EVE SSO login is optional — it unlocks portfolios, alerts, and the undercut watcher, but bulk appraisal, reprocessing, and BPO search all work without logging in.

:wrench: Update: Reprocessed values in Bulk Appraisal + a leaderboard fix

A couple of things went in based on feedback in this thread:

:alembic: Bulk Appraisal now handles ore reprocessing directly
There’s a new “Reprocess ore lines into minerals” option under Advanced Options. Paste a mixed manifest — ore alongside modules, ships, whatever — and any recognized ore gets converted to its mineral value at your chosen yield %, right in the same results table (tagged “reprocessed”). Everything else in the manifest is still priced normally, no need to separate it out first.

If you’d rather use the full Ore Processing tool instead (yield calculated from your actual skills/rig/facility rather than a flat %), there’s now a “Send to Ore Processing” button right under the manifest box that sends your pasted list straight over and switches tabs for you — no more manually copy/pasting between the two, which wasn’t working reliably for everyone.

:trophy: Fixed: Top Appraisers total not updating on delete
Deleting a saved appraisal from your portfolio wasn’t removing its value from that month’s Top Appraisers total — your leaderboard number would stay inflated even after the appraisal itself was gone. That’s fixed now: deleting an appraisal correctly subtracts it from the right month’s total.

Small but useful update to the Bulk Appraisal tool — reprocessing isn’t just for ore anymore! :rock::right_arrow::gear:

Previously, “Reprocess ore lines into minerals” only recognized asteroid ore. Now it also picks up ships, modules, structures and drones — anything with SDE reprocessing data. So if you paste a mixed manifest (say, a killmail with a wreck’s hull, a few modules, and some leftover ore :skull:), the whole thing gets converted, not just the rocks.

The bigger change though: you don’t need to opt in anymore. :sparkles: Every Bulk Appraisal now quietly checks in the background for anything reprocessable, and if it finds something, a little comparison card pops up right above your results:

…and the results table switches over to the reprocessed values automatically. No checkbox, no extra click, no detour to the Ore Processing tab just to see if it’s worth it. :raising_hands:

One nice little bonus: if your manifest yields the same mineral from two different sources (ore + a scrapped frigate both giving Tritanium, for example), it’s combined into one clean row instead of showing it twice. :abacus:
