FW is time zone gated or something?

I was bored the other day, and jumped into my girl, but I was alpha and frustrated, so I just emptied my clone and went straight for FW space (as amarr militia).

Most of the whole FW space and systems and either empty or being roamed by large groups of enemies. I met a group who taught me how was like to claim a complex. I didn’t have much time that day to continue and some of them log off too.

Since then (around 3 days ago), the militia chat has somewhere between 150 and 200 players in it, but no open fleets, practically no chatters at all. The guys said it was a time zone activity in which the active militia roamed and farmed the space while the inactive one was just totally absent. If this is the case, you can only actively play FW during your militia’s active time and barely finding a decent fight that does not involve the opposing active militia to actually cause a large fight?

Other than running solo ninja cap while everyone’s sleeping or joining a formal FW alliance and wipe the complex knowing that there won’t be much fight back, there’s something that I’m missing here? It feels like ninja mining in null sec, except it capping a plex instead of mining and there’s a small chance to fight back if you get ambushed…?

FW lacks group objectives, so it’s mostly solo capping or multiboxers farming LP.

It’s not bad, just not presented that way.
