In the “extensive” knowledge you’ve gained in a whopping two years and eight months?
Man you wouldn’t have made it in pre-nerfed EVE. All kinds of scams and griefing and there were no babysitters to help you.
Lol…vastly more than in your own 33 days…huh.
If you mean 22 years, then, yes.
A lot of people pretend to have played the game for a long time, but if you look at their killboard you can see whether they ever played at all.
Some people are all talk!
Bah…nobody with a proud 22 years would be hiding behind a 33 day old noob alt.
It’s a pretty consistent thing here…that the people who whine loudest about PvP post on accounts that have zero activity in 7 years, or are ‘noobs’, or posting on one of 100 throw away alts. It’s the biggest sign that such people are not really interested in an honest discussion.
Ah yes, the classic dodge, ignore the argument, cry “alt!” Newsflash: valid points don’t require a vintage killboard. If the best you’ve got is “you’re a noob,” you’ve already lost the debate.
I have to admit, I don’t know if I get more entertainment from being called a ganker or reading @Swing_Vote1 posts!
You don’t even have valid points. Just another ‘save the noobs’ pretend white knight masquerading their own narcissism in which, as Nabi puts it…
’ you are the one who is so self-important and self-centered that you want the entire spirit and mechanics of a whole video game to be changed to suit your preferences '.
I think most here see through the facade.
It’s actually the same one. There isn’t a community of ‘antigankers’ who agree with any of this nonsense. Notice how nobody with an active killboard agrees with him? It’s just one individual rolling new alts and endlessly spamming the forum with tiresome cliches. The post you are responding to was actually written by ChatGPT, because the lazy pleb isn’t even writing his own diatribes. Unfortunately, on his own, he just isn’t intelligent to use big words like “valid” and “vintage”.
Show me on the graph where EVE is dying fast.
(Timeframe was chosen as post Scarcity and the start of CCP’s current development philosophy.)
Looks great to me!
Let me give you a piece of advice for all MMOs: when you’re not happy, just leave. Uninstall the game. No need to come to the official forum just to spit venom.
They are quite entertaining , a yappy little chihuahua.
Clearly he is suffering from patellar luxation and has an anorectal abscess
You’re the one who brought character age into the discussion.
hour after unplanned downtime there are 14k players only. 23:27 EVE Time. Means that 1/3 of the players before DT were bots or long-term AFK.
Or, and here me out, they live in a time zone where they just decided to go to bed instead of staying up for some instable EVE. Just a thought.
If that was the case they would quit before the DT as the game was basically unplayable, not after. But sure some percentage of those missing players simply quit because of that DT. I don’t deny that.
Me and a lot of others in my fleet stayed until after downtime to see if the game got any better, but it took too long and eventually the fleet stood down and I went to bed. Others from EUTZ too.
I wouldn’t be surprised if similar choices were made elsewhere in the game.
Welcome arkofixx,
I have seen this pessimistic posting on most any game forum I attend. However from a variety of tracking sites, I see positive growth for the last 90 days. All games start off riding high for the first 6 months, most never see those numbers again. The average online game loses 1 to 2 percent per year. There are some that continue to operate with as few a 1,000 player or less online. From what I understand there are corporations in null with as many as 50,000 members in an alliance?
I know, you are going to say, 3 characters per account and one person can own several accounts. However I don’t think for one minute that one person can hold 15 to 20 thousand accounts together. Assuming it only took you 3 minutes to login on each account, you could only login to 160 accounts in an 8 hour period. It is implausible to say that 1 person is thousands of players.
Summer months ahead means, vacation for the developers and the gamers. You can remain chained to your PC, if you desire. I have to go to dialysis this morning, then I come home to enjoy the weather outside. Don’t be a slave to the machine. The game will be here when you get back.
Have fun!
