I think my EvE would be boring without a threat to my hauling. I like the danger and excitement of possibly being blown to high Amarr heaven. Forces me to really be alert and play the game. It’s a rush to make it thru Uedama and other spots successfully. If I die, it’s just a game and I laugh and go back at it.

This. I have no issue with bumping except that it is risk free entirely. Even accidental ‘bumps’ should incur some kind of penalty.
And from an immersion aspect…just how good are these shields that a machariel can ram you at 1500m/s and survive?

Er…why don’t they all appear -10 and flashy in this video ? Of the 9 gankers in the fleet at 1.24 in the video, only two are showing red in the fleet chat. Huh ?

Saftey’s own video shows them merrily cruising around highsec without a care in the world…and only getting the ’ you are not welcome here ’ message after attacking someone. It was you who responded as if every ganker in highsec was -10
There’s a local ganker near my home base who has ganked twice in the past few weeks, yet his security status is still above 0. The tags are expensive, but I’d guess level 4 ratting in lowsec makes up the status again. I come across quite a few known gankers all with status above 0. I see them go flashy sometimes, but within a few days they are back again with good status.
What’s more, even if most of the ganker ships themselves were -10…my assertion that Concord protects the gankers would still be true in that scouts and loot retrieval ships would not be. So the very ship that sets up the gank in the first place is doing so right under the nose of Concord, protected by them.
