I will be hosting an ESS robberies event on March 6, 20:00-22:00 eve time, starting from Jita
TLDR: join the event solo or in a group, secure the bonds with a convenient buyback, and get a chance to win some plex!
The idea: To promote ESS robbing and make it more convenient, at least for the event duration. Also to make new friends, possibly!
The rules:
To join the event, you will need to write an in-game mail to Metalhead Dude right before you start taking part in the event (that is, when you assemble a fleet, put the event item stack into cargo hold and ready to filament out from Jita). The event item will be announced in discord and in-game chat “Heist Storm” right before the event starts. It will be a cheap flavor item that’s available in Jita in bulk (something along the lines of Pax Amarria, Exotic Dancers, cheapass skins etc).
The in-game mail needs to come from the fleet leader and have all the team members as recipients as well as Metalhead Dude.
After that’s done, you are free to do as many robberies as you want within the event time frame, and free to reship and filament out again if you get blown up.
To prevent abuse, team size is limited to 5 members for now.
When you extract bonds from the ESS, you (by default, the team leader) should deposit them into a local citadel along with a single (!) event item, and then contract these to Metalhead Dude at nominal bonds value minus 20%. Only the bonds secured this way count towards the total team progress.
Please note that only citadels hostile to the team are eligible, as contracting from a citadel where the team has docking rights is a clear sign of abuse.
It is expected that the team leader will share the isk received from these contracts with the whole team, but you know I can’t force that. It’s down to his honesty and your agreements within the team. The plex reward I will split among the team members.

1st place: 50 plex
2nd-5th places: 25 plex
Most expensive kill: 25 plex
I know it’s not much but it’s more than nothing! And looks like the event won’t be too crowded so it’s worth to take a shot!
