CCP changed it not long after the MTU was introduced. I remember the rage when pirates were shooting MTUs and then being engaged by people’s drones even though they didn’t want them to. That caused a lot of PVE losses and CCP adjusted the behaviour of drones.
Reading through the sequence of events again … there is the part where the attacker declares war on the miners …
From that point on isn’t the war the deciding factor when it comes to drone response / aggression?
Being at war makes the blue flag irrelevant, no?
Yes but it takes 24 hours for the war to start.
