How long will support for Windows 10 continue?

I know Linux OS is not everyone’s cup of tea. If you try another distro I am currently recommending Manjaro. I have mine set up to appear like XP, it functions well with Eve without much ado. I run it with straight Wine, while there are options to install Lutris or Steam launchers as well. If you read through the recent my recent issues running this game, most were due to which version of wine I was using. I rolled back the wine release to fix my minor problems. My advice to the Windows 10 users is to hang on to their comfort, but plan to move along when the time comes. That could be years down the road. Back in 2010, I ran Linux side by side with XP, when you reboot you get a choice of which OS to boot. Roughly 8 months later, I realized I was no longer booting into XP for much of anything at all.

I would consider moving back to Windows, if they removed all their bloatware. I used Windows 3.11 to XP and all of those versions came with a functioning OS, Solitaire, Minesweeper, and a clock. Whatever else you needed, you added it to the system. We all know they will never streamline their OS.
