When was the last time CCP officially announcing their hardware to support such events, like 10 yrs ago when tidi introduced? But officially you can’t criticize devs who are busy with skins introduction plex trading and some weird election vs. get a full attention and resources to be able to manage large scale battlefields without disconnected accounts etc.
I for one, do not want devs who do work with Skins or market stuff to work on optimizing the amoung of nerds we can cram into a system. That will only make the number of nerds crammed into a system go down and not up.

If you think it can be done better, please enlighten us, or point to the game you think is doing it better. EVE does hold the record for most players in a single fight. I want them to do better, CCP wants to do better, but we do have what is the best for now.
