Incentivising War Eligibility

I’m afraid you’ll have to explain this a bit better for me. I recently bought 50 implants for 1.875 Bil + whatever lp (4 Bil worth?) total, took them to Jita and sold them in 4 days for 8.5 Bil. Please explain how this is an isk sink?

Isk changing hands is not an isk injection, it’s a sink to tax and brokers fees. On top of that isk leaves the world once more to npcs to generate lp items. So 1.875bil was removed from the game, as was the tax on your 8.5bil sold.

You bought implants from the LP store, sinking ISK into the imaginary NPC wallet. Then you sold the implants on the market, which means you not only paid ISK into yet another imaginary NPC wallet, you pulled ISK from an actual player wallet.

Player wallets aren’t imaginary NPC wallets creating ISK, therefore trading is an ISK sink.
