ISK Scout — Real-Profit Trading Route Optimizer with Orderbook Depth Analysis, Reliability Grades, and Gatecamp Detection

TLDR: ISK Scout finds you the most profitable trading routes between hubs — but unlike other tools,
it simulates actual order consumption so the profit you see is the profit you get. Screenshots:

ISK Scout is a trading route optimizer I built because I was tired of tools showing me “35% margin!”
only to arrive at Amarr and realize 80% of that margin came from a single buy order for 2 units.

Existing tools (evetrade.space, Adam4EVE, etc.) compare the lowest sell price against the highest
buy price. That’s a nice number, but it’s not what you’ll actually make. ISK Scout does something
different — it walks through the sell and buy orderbooks order-by-order, matching them against each
other, and stops the moment the trade becomes unprofitable. The result is your real, achievable
profit after taxes.

What It Does

Route Scanning — Scans all items between two hubs (Jita ↔ Amarr, Jita ↔ Dodixie, etc.) and ranks
them by a composite score that factors in profit, jumps, cargo efficiency, and volume.

Reliability Grade (A through D) — Every trade gets a letter grade based on how “real” the
opportunity is:

  • Does 70%+ of the profit depend on a single order? Penalized.
  • Is the buy-side orderbook thin relative to your haul? Penalized.
  • Are there outlier orders that skew the price? Flagged.

This alone saves you from chasing phantom margins.

Durability Score — Answers the question “will this trade still be there when I arrive?” by analyzing
orderbook depth, market share, refresh frequency, and margin buffer. A trade graded “Solid” has
deep books and healthy volume. “Fragile” means you’re racing other haulers.

Danger Analysis & Gatecamp Detection — Every route is scored for risk based on security status,
recent PvP kills, and kill-per-jump ratios. The tool specifically flags likely gatecamp systems
(high pod-to-ship kill ratio + sustained kill activity). A color-coded security map shows you
exactly which systems are hot.

Multi-Leg Route Optimization (Synergy) — Instead of just A→B, ISK Scout can optimize round-trip and
chain routes (A→B→C→D). Forward profits become your budget for the return trip (“ISK snowball”), so
you’re always flying with cargo both ways. Supports one-way, round-trip, and chain modes.

Cargo Optimizer — 2D knapsack solver that respects both your cargo capacity (m³) AND your ISK
budget. Tells you exactly which items to load for maximum profit density.

Personal Dashboard — Connect your character via EVE SSO to see your wallet balance, active orders,
profit history, and get alerts when your orders are being undercut.

I’d love feedback from fellow traders. What features would make this actually useful for your
workflow? What’s missing from current tools that drives you crazy?
