Ive been in many new startup corporations, because i like to help new players. Ive never received a biomass notification, not once.

Until I joined your corp.

Almost all players who stop playing, usually just delete the game. No one goes through the effort of actually deleting their character.

Except the members of your corp.

Maybe they are alts of nullsec players interested in seeing what ICANP is about, if you truly wish to help new players then please, contribute in corp chat and answer their questions

I suspect some of those biomasses might be connected with the “incompetent and proud” corp (ICANP) recruitment technique of mass-spamailing groups of characters by alphabetical order. Perhaps those characters are biomassed after being used for that purpose, dunno. sabus knows people don’t like getting those spamails, so perhaps …

Because I can be pretty lazy with mails given the number of chars I run I have some I have never bothered to clear so for fun (so I have some weird ideas of fun - so what?) I just logged a couple in and looked through the shitty spam-mails that come from that slave-corp scamfest and guess what…

That’s right!!

No fewer than 4 - FKN FOUR! - of the names on that (pretty short) screenshot list are the authors of some of those fkn recruitment spam-mails that keep getting sent to everyone who is in any public channel at all.

He is a fkn joke.

The plot thickens?

Nullsec players dont need to create alts in order to join your corp, nor do they have to delete them. They can use whatever alt they already have to join your corp, and any serious nullsec player has tons of alts. There is no need to create, or destroy, alts to join your corp.

Anyone can join your corp. Remember, I did.

Incompetent and Proud (ICANP) is a tax scam. Offer new players basic support and encourage them to run missions as an easy way to make ISK. This is why Sabus Narian (aka Noori Naarian) is pushing so hard for PvE and missions. Why? He’s making 4% on all bounty and mission rewards.

1759 players in the corp
Lets say 10% run missions in a week and make a total of 50M
That’s 350M a week for not much effort
…and that’s only 10% with an average of 50M a week!

Nice scam…

Yeah, might be. Although I dont see the point in creating and deleting characters just to spam mails.

Is it like a testimonial or something?

Having like 10 brand new characters spam-mail you saying “Hey, I joined this corp, it was amazing!”

That probably breaks the rules around recycling alts. Worth a report to CCP to check.

@Solonius_Rex Daily mail limit or something to avoid CCP spam filter probably. Hence the above comment about reporting it.

Its brilliant. If I had less morals and didnt give a cr@p about this game, I would try the same thing as he did.

TBH, I agree…

Odd thing to say when you’re busy whining about how highsec farming just got nerfed.

Not the only one he runs either.

You know about the moon mining one right? The one where he gets suckers to set up Athanors on non-corp alts to, in essence, ‘infest’ a system and smash out several moons per day every day - all without having his corp eligible for wardecs ofc. It’s easy for new players to do cos guess what - he is “kind” enough to provide not only free fitted Ventures for everyone but also a kindly provided (almost compulsory really) buyback scheme. Buying UNCOMPRESSED ores. Which he then compresses and has freightered to Jita - several times per day. When I was brand new I joined and saw it. I saw week-pull belts being completely stripped not leaving so much as a pebble in less than an hour through sheer numbers of ships.

If you think the missions-tax one is a good earner what do you think of 4+ moons per day every day being bought at uncompressed rates then sold in bulk at compressed rates?

But don’t just take my word for it - ask any fairly-long-term resident of the Usi System. That’s the system he was being repeatedly attacked in due to the ‘swarms’ he had brought into that system (that were also locust-mining the other residents’ moons without permission or even warning or compensation payments) when I was new and knew no better so joined his slave-corp. He has long-since been run out of Usi and set up elsewhere (more than once I have been told but that is just hearsay so not going to say for certain) and will no doubt be run out of that system before long too.

Oh I’m sure there are a lot more angles he’s running…thanks for the info…

And of course once he’s conned these poor newbies into thinking he’s doing them a favor he tells them to post on the forums and demand buffs to highsec farming, hopefully putting that money directly into his wallet. It’s really an impressive scam, or at least it would be if he wasn’t so utterly stupid and unable to keep from trashing his own reputation on the forums.

Perhaps recycling alphas…

Like you say, it’s not normal for players to biomass when they quit. Either they need a new char and have run out of character slots or somethings up.

Nope, money goes to helping our members sorry.

Nope…if that was the case you wouldn’t tax them…

No scam, but you thinking I’m an evil genius is quite amusing.

Corp has to raise revenues, why do you think we have a nice low tax of 4% compared to nullsec’s 15%?
