Terrible idea, sorry. EVE is already a PvE game with some danger elements ( pvp ) and I think it should stay that way.

No. Eve online. If you want some pvp go to arena. And donāt disturb adult players of the game.
What youāre suggesting is the antithesis of the entire design of the game; it also yoinks out one of the cornerstones the game is built on, if you remove cornerstones the thing that theyāre built on tends to collapse.

It is not removing the cornerstone of the game. But legal desire to choose the honourable competition you want to participate. Removing some horrible and brutal behaviour from this game will make it much healthy then it is.

Citation needed. You sound like Balos, thatās unlikely though as you appear to frequent the Russian part of the forums, in which case this seems appropriate.
Eveās peak growth and player numbers occurred when the game was less forgiving than it is now; hisec is safer than it has ever been with very few risks for PvE players, if theyāre paying attention to the game instead of watching fapflix.

No risk no reward, this is RL and somehow EVE.
Well Iām just going to throw 2 cents in before I move on. Iām a new player (couple months) and Iāve mostly on been in high sec doing mining and missions except where Iāve had to travel around to other places.
For me, thatās fun. The exploration, etc. I also play other MMORPGās. In those games as well, I find fun in the questās and exploration and lore.
Iām not a PVP person and to me, any game that letās playerās attack other players with or without consent is a PVP game. It doesnāt matter if itās punished by a āscoreā or not, thatās still pvp- forced pvp. Iāve been flying in a āfreeā corvette with a empty cargo hold and been blown up, so itās not about isk. I just donāt like pvp and I donāt play games where I canāt say if I want to participate in it or not.
With that, Iāve decided this game isnāt for me. I think if in just the āhigh-secā there was no pvp, I could even go along with that but since the mechanicās of the game are as such I donāt really care for this game. It has a lot of cool features and I did like the chat channels that offer help to newbies.
Ohā¦and pvp players do not make pve players better. You clearly donāt understand the mechanics of a pvp game vs pve. They are different. If they werenāt, there wouldnāt be different names for them in the first place. But anyway, Iām not looking for a reply and wonāt be following this. I just thought Iād throw something in, just in case a developer skims through and see this thread.

Iām going to take the above post, switch up all the instances of āpvpā and āpveā with each other (along with minor changes to wording to create consistency in the context), and go post it on the forums of a PvE MMO.

I will save you the carpel tunnel and time and advise donāt post on wow forums.
WOW has PVP required now. Its where you get your ilevel 200 gear not relying on RNG to start on the path to mythic clears/heroic raid to work up the 220 ilevel gear.
Also as new 60 in crap gearā¦its actually harsher than eve. In eve I can try to burn a camp to live longer. 6 on 1 does not end well. So yeahā¦you go for option B and work getting away from the camp.
In wowā¦you go into those battlegrounds and get you butt beat by ilevel 210+ geared farmers for several minutes. death after deathā¦after death. For the honor points. To buy conquest gear.
Best you got is hoping your team has the better 210ās. so they win it for you and you get more points.
