WTF does that have to do with anything? They screwed up their loyalty program, and created a situation where nobody’s happy. There will have to be a solution, and somebody’s getting boned in the process. That’s what’s taking time.
im more about their image at this point. its sad they cant get a simple thing fixed really. and the entire daily login was a fiasco that i gained nothing out of besides the sp that is currently getting old and dusty.

lol … no you pay omega subscription to play EVE with omega status … the login rewards are something else … they just make different rewards for alpha and omega … omega get a bit more … alpha a bit less … but you dont pay for the rewards you pay for playing without limits

Sometimes I wonder how you people survive in the real world. Life is full of disappointments and smack downs - we have to deal with that. In game, they give you something free and then have trouble actually delivering it to you . . . but they are working on it. You people freak out!

Omega gets more bonus in their reward.
meanwhile alpha users had a seemless experience getting their login rewards.
while omega users who claimed before the hotpatch are still waiting out.
poor customer service and implementation of a product for said customer.
also if you notice my OP was about it being a shitty login campaign. not the fact that “free things are given and i didnt get them.”
compared to most other games that have a dedicated login campaign this one was laughable at best in my opinion to most of the playerbase thats beyond 10mil sp…
You are not dumb, this new mechanism only serves the purpose that you log in more regularly, so it creates a certain dependency and possibly pushes the login counter.
Additionally they have reduced this “free stuff” quite a bit. Instead of daily tasks with 10-20k SP you now get 3-7.
And in the end not even that works.
All in all that is what makes many people unhappy. Free stuff or not. Like someone said, the carrot on a stick is starting to stink.
PS: And my opinion about these BPCs is quite simple. It is an insult to normal thinking people. This is exactly how they could introduce the 1ISK Daily Reward, right?

Being honest 150k sp makes no difference either way. skills will still take a month to train.
We had a saying in the military: " Steamboat mouth and rowboat a–", meaning “talks fast but slow to deliver”. Defend CCP all you want, fanboys, but when somebody tells me they’re going to do something I expect it to happen. When it doesn’t, I want results, not excuses.
It may be that narcissistic, pathological liars in positions of power and importance have numbed many into indifference, but I have no sympathy for talk that belies action.
