I don’t know how many of you have read the background on Lapetan titans. However, the most popular posts have always featured discussion of their immense size and how they were so large they could cause destruction to planets due to tidal forces alone when in orbit.
However, if you’ve ran mission sites with old EVE assets present, it seems apparent that this may be based on incorrectly scaled classic assets.
For example, the space shuttle wrecks that are encountered. These assets clearly featured a visible cockpit area with a simplistic enough design to actually be what the name implies; a space shuttle. However, the asset is scaled to be 2.5km long.
Similarly, there are assets of broken ship parts that the people who discussed the lapetan titan size used to speculate on the size of the ships as well as concept art that depicts current titans as small vessels flying alongside which is used to project and arrive at an answer of around 512km. Which is kind of absurd.
There are pictures of the original models and footage of the gallente Solteur live event.

They demonstrate that while they are titan sized, they’re not approaching the sizes of small moons.
I took an interest in this as I was exploring since I was trying to understand what the terran colony ship assets (that you find in a lot of data and relic sites) might have been as well as what the intended size might have been lore wise. The Imud Hubrau is one of the best looking ship designs from the stills that exist in my opinion where supposedly only two exist in the game canonically.
So, I just want to know, is there a definitive answer on this?
