Launcher broke?

is anyone else experiancing problems with the launcher?

im getting

is it just me or anyone else?

I also have a thread going in communications.

Anyway to solve this?

I do also have a support ticket in, but this is my day off and id like to play…

Having the same Issue ran the cache verify still nothing. the trace route fails at Ping 4,8-13. i cant seem to find any work around on this issue.

Game was working perfectly prior to 0830 AEST on 4/10/18 and CCP ( GM Sirius) have done nothing about it in over 36 hrs other to say… try this… try that… Well its NOT my PC or ISP or any other thing ON my end.

Is there a fix I can try whilst waiting for CCP to get back to me?

Are there steps to fix this? I started getting this friday ?

Are any of you who are experiencing this issue running the latest Windows 10, version 1809?

i have 1809… laptop fails to work but desktop works fine (it is also 1809)
“The connection to the server was closed.”

whats different?
laptop is intel cpu and nvidia gpu - wifi
desktop is amd with vega 56 gpu - wired

Same issue here (10/7/2018). I logged in this morning and everything was fine. Logged out to get some breakfast and now the error message from the launcher.

Guess it’s a message from CCP to go enjoy some RL today.

Edit: Came back this afternoon to the same issue. I renamed the cache folder manually per the CCP website ( (%LOCALAPPDATA%\CCP\EVE\cache\QtWebEngine\Default\Cache to Cache.old) and restarted the client. Things are working now. Fly safe!

Had the same issue. Applied solution suggested in Charbrus Metesur’s comment edit. Solution worked. All the client settings remain the same, no need to rebuild the overview, hotkeys and other settings. Also no need to reinstall OS as other threads suggest.

has there been a fix, its been over 2 weeks since i played

is this ■■■■ fixed yet? or do i need to just stop playing this game until ccp gives a ■■■■ about its players?

Launcher not complaining at all and I have no error-messages but the game doesn’t launch.

Running Win 10 Version 1803.
Have tried to rename the cache-folder.
All drivers are updated.
Reboot and run launcher as admin.
No luck.

Edit: up and running again after reinstalling EVE. Not clue what caused the problem, it was working just fine y-day and I had done no changes at all.

Just had this same fault today, all worked fine yesterday - this morning launcher error. No Windows updates since yesterday.

Update: fixed after reinstall and cache deletion as described.
